1, Introduction of Henan Museum
Henan Museum, located at No.8 Nongye Road, Jinshui District, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province, was established in July of the Republic of China 16 (1927). It was the former site of the former Fazheng School in the West Street of Kaifeng Court, and it was the beginning of its prosperity. 196 1 year, the Henan Provincial Museum was moved from Kaifeng to Zhengzhou, the provincial capital, and the Henan Exhibition Hall in Zijingshan was given to the Henan Museum with a rich history.
1In July, 1997, the Central Plains Stone Carving Art Museum merged with the Henan Provincial Museum to form the Henan Museum. 1998, Henan Provincial Museum was moved from Renmin Road in Zhengzhou City to Nongye Road in Zhengzhou City and renamed as "Henan Museum"; On May 1 day of the same year, the new Henan Museum was completed and opened.
2. Collection of cultural relics
By the end of June 5438+ 10 in 2022, Henan Museum had more than 70,000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics/kloc-0, especially prehistoric cultural relics, Shang and Zhou bronzes, ceramics, jade and stone carvings. There are a large number of high-quality cultural relics with complete varieties, high grade and great value. They are cultural and artistic treasures that witness the development of Chinese civilization and show the historical development of China.
Most of them came from archaeological excavations in Shangqiu, Luoyang, Anyang, Kaifeng, Xichuan, Sanmenxia, Huixian and Xinzheng in the early 20th century. Prehistoric cultural relics, Shang and Zhou bronzes, ancient ceramics and jade are the most distinctive. Among them, there are more than 5,000 national first-class cultural relics and national second-class cultural relics, which are of great historical, cultural and artistic value, and some of the collections are known as the heavy weapons of the country.
3. Important collections
(1) Jia Hu bone flute
Jia Hu bone flute, 23.6 cm long, 1987 unearthed from Tomb M282, Jiahu Site, Wuyang, Henan. Jia Hu bone flute is not only the earliest musical instrument in China, but also the earliest musical instrument recognized by experts in the world. Experiments show that Jia Hu Bone Flute can not only play traditional five-tone or seven-tone music, but also play ethnic minority or foreign music with various tones.
(2) Fang Ding, Ling Du
Fang Ding, Ling Du, located in the early Shang Dynasty, is 87 cm high, with a mouth width of 6 1cm, an ear height of 17cm, a foot height of 25.5 cm and a weight of 64.25 kg. 1974 Unearthed in Zhangzhai South Street, Zhengzhou, Henan Province.
