On the lintel are the four characters "Great Rivers and Mountains" written by Gao Weiyue, the governor of Chahar, the local military and political leader at the time, in 1927, which is vigorous and spectacular. According to legend, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty returned to Kyoto from an expedition and passed through this place at night. He once slept outside Dajingmen. Later, Wolong Pavilion and Jiangjun Pavilion were built.
