When did Yichang first win the honorary title of National Civilized City?

2011.

In 2011, Yichang won the title of National Civilized City for the first time, becoming the first city in our province to win this honor. In 2020, Yichang was awarded the title of National Civilized City for four consecutive times, and its affiliated Yidu City and Zhijiang City were ranked among the National Civilized Cities respectively. This year, the Central Civilization Office launched the creation of a national civilized model city, and Yichang launched a sprint towards this higher goal.

On July 23, Yichang City held a mobilization meeting to take the lead in the province and strive to become a national civilized model city.

This is a new expedition. A model city is an upgraded version of a civilized city and a more valuable and influential city honor.

This is a high jump. Choosing a "model" means competing with 104 equivalent cities across the country. Masters compete with each other to win in a difficult situation.

This is a responsibility to keep an appointment. As the first national civilized city in our province, Yichang has won the title four times in a row. It has a mission on its shoulders and is imperative to do so.
