D1: Go to Gulangyu Island in the early morning. The island is home to thousands of Chinese and foreign buildings of different styles, combining Chinese and Western styles. Walk all the way to the best viewing spot on Gulangyu Island - Sunlight Rock, which is a huge rock with a diameter of more than 40 meters. From the top, you can have a panoramic view of Xiamen. Then walk to Shuzhuang Garden and visit the world-class piano museum.

Have lunch on Longtou Road or a pleasant coffee garden on the island, and spend the afternoon at the beach around the island.

D2: Visit Nanputuo Temple early in the morning. While burning incense and praying, don’t forget to taste the famous Nanputuo vegetarian dishes.
