On March 6th, the Public Security Fire Brigade of Yongqiao District, Suzhou City issued a decision to temporarily seal up the Suzhou store of Jiangsu Lotte Mart Commercial Co., Ltd. for one month.

It is understood that on March 4, the Public Security Fire Brigade of Yongqiao District of Suzhou City conducted fire supervision and inspection on the Suzhou store of Jiangsu Lotte Mart Commercial Co., Ltd., and found that there were 8 safety hazards in the business premises. According to the provisions of Article 54 of the People's Republic of China (PRC) Fire Protection Law and Article 22 of the Regulations on Fire Supervision and Inspection, it was decided to seal it up.

The staff of the fire department of Suzhou confirmed the seizure information to the reporter, and said that the fire inspection was part of the fire safety work during the "two sessions", mainly for routine inspection of crowded places in the jurisdiction, and other places with potential safety hazards during the inspection were also dealt with according to regulations.

Lotte Mart Suzhou Store also posted an announcement today, saying that it will suspend business for rectification from March 6, and customers will be informed of the business hours after rectification. Customers who hold IC cards will be notified to use them after normal business.
