The former site of Putian County Working Committee is located in Siting Natural Village, Haopu Community, Chen Gong Street, Licheng District, Putian City.

1948 in may, the central Fujian prefectural party Committee deployed to rectify and restore the county party organization at the Daimaoshan meeting in Minhou, and decided to set up the Putian county working Committee with Kang as its secretary, and returned to Putian to establish a stronghold. After Kang returned to Putian, in July of the same year, he called a meeting of party member backbones scattered and hidden in Xianxingtang, Siting Village in the suburbs, and announced the establishment of Putian County Working Committee. At the meeting, he put forward the slogan of "restoring old areas and developing new areas", and arranged for everyone to mobilize the masses to carry out struggles such as eliminating evils and borrowing grain to raise funds. After the meeting, the People's Counter-Violence Team was set up to carry out the counter-violence struggle, so that all the basic villages in Nanyang, Beiyang, Jiangkou, Gaobei, Zhongmen and Changtai were restored, and the mass struggle was in high spirits and the struggle situation was quickly opened. 1February, 949, the organ of Putian County Committee was moved from Siting to Huangshi Qingjiang.

The former site of Putian County Working Committee is Xianxingtang, and the current site is a single-story brick-wood structure with three floors, facing south, with an area of about 70 square meters. There is a 30-square-meter front embankment in front of the main hall.
