There is something called "transparent printing" in printers. What does it mean?

The production of transparent labels, glass signs, and large-scale promotional slogans is called transparent printing.

When it comes to printers, we usually just use them to print some documents and pictures. In fact, as long as you use your brain a little bit, it is not difficult to make transparent labels, glass signs, and large-scale promotional slogans. Yes, these things usually require professional equipment.

Use the ubiquitous transparent tape to easily print waterproof and wear-resistant transparent labels. The effect can even be compared with professional equipment printing, but the cost is much lower. Of course, at least you must have a laser printer, an inkjet printer is absolutely not possible.

1. Prepare a roll of 6cm wide transparent tape and some thicker printing paper. You can cut the old calendar into 16 karat (18.4cm×26cm) paper for later use. Apply the clear tape lengthwise to the prepared printing paper. When pasting, first put the tape head on the table, which should be at least 5cm. Pull out a piece of tape of appropriate length. Hold the tape roll in your right hand to keep the tape straight. Place the printing paper under the pulled tape and adjust the position so that the tape Keep a certain distance between the edge and the edge of the paper, just treat it as 2cm. Use your left hand to slowly press down from left to right to make the tape stick to the paper, and at the same time, slowly pull out the tape with your right hand so that it can be applied easily, and then cut off the excess tape. Generally, two 6cm wide transparent tapes can be pasted side by side on 16-karat paper lengthwise. Of course, a certain distance should be maintained between the two tapes.

2. Open WPS Office, first use the rectangle tool to draw a rectangle, right-click to set the object properties, and set the left margin to 2cm according to the position where the transparent glue is pasted on the printing paper, and the width is the width of the transparent glue. 6cm, the height is slightly smaller than the page height. This rectangle is mainly used for positioning. Insert a single line of text or a text box to enter the required label text, set the border font, and insert some simple graphics to combine. Then copy the designed label n copies (n is calculated according to the number of labels that can be arranged), and arrange them within the rectangle just drawn. Be sure not to exceed the rectangular range to print on the transparent tape. Insert the paper with the transparent tape on it just now and print, making sure to print on the side with the transparent tape on it. The printed paper should be handled carefully and not to be folded or scratched. The printed words can be easily erased now.

3. Paste another layer of transparent glue on top of the printed label. This layer should be staggered from the next layer of transparent glue so that it can be torn off and used in the future. Be careful to paste according to the method introduced in step 1. If you make a mistake, all your efforts will be wasted. Finally, cut off the excess paper lengthwise along both sides of the first layer of tape, and then cut the labels horizontally one by one. These are the transparent labels we need.

When using it, just peel off the upper layer of transparent tape, and the originally printed label text will be stuck up. It depends on where you want to stick it. Because the text is under the tape, it is of course waterproof, and it will never be scratched off. It is super wear-resistant.

Here we use 6cm wide transparent tape, so the largest label that can be printed is 6cm × 100cm (100cm is the limit of WPS Office). This is a size that is difficult to achieve with general label printing equipment. Of course you can make larger labels if you have enough clear tape. You can also easily create transparent photo stickers if you insert your own photo when designing the label.
