Kunming Station, located in Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, is a first-class station under the jurisdiction of China Railway Kunming Bureau Group Co., Ltd. It is also an important transportation hub site at the intersection of Shanghai-Kunming Railway, Chengdu-Kunming Railway and Nan-Kunming Railway.

The new station building of Kunming Station is designed to be a Dai bamboo building with sloping roof and stilt building with strong Yunnan regional customs. Its appearance is known as the "window" for the railway to serve Yunnan's economy and face Southeast Asia. The structure of Kunming Station adopts a curved column-free shelter design, and the station building adopts the design concept of "big entrance and big exit".
