Generally, I will regard the base map as 100dpi, and other small images can be 300dpi. Then use CorelDRAW, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe InDesign for typesetting. Finally, it is exported as a PDF file and provided to export companies.

Production requirements: you don't need high resolution to take photos. Even if you give high resolution, the company that prints photos will reduce your resolution, resulting in lower product quality.
