1. Potential safety hazards

1. Safety knowledge is not properly publicized, and there are no warning slogans or signs in dangerous operating areas.

2. The safety production management system is imperfect. There is no public safety management system in the working area and no safety production records.

3. There are no safety warning signs or road signs on dangerous sections of roads in the mining area; the access road for workers to and from is steep and there are no safety protection measures.

4. The reinforcement measures for the mining tunnel entrance are incomplete and there is a risk of collapse; there are no safety protection measures in the temporary mining area and there is a risk of landslide.

5. The workers’ living area is close to the mining area and is located at the entrance of the cave or downstream of the ravine. There is a lack of safety precautions and there are potential safety hazards.

6. The workers’ food hygiene conditions are poor and the facilities are simple, posing potential food hygiene and safety hazards.

7. The fire prevention, flood prevention and safety production plans in the mining area are not perfect.

2. Opinions on rectification

1. Strengthen the publicity of safety production knowledge. Strengthen daily safety education for workers. Improve workers' self-safety awareness through publicity.

2. Make fixed warning signs and safety slogans at construction sites, sites, and roads to create an atmosphere for safety production publicity and education.

3. Reinforce openings and roads with potential safety hazards in accordance with technical standards. Drainage ditches must be built above the cave entrance to prevent landslides or collapses.

4. Improve workers’ accommodation conditions. Outside the mining operation area, choose a safe location and build worker sheds to meet the basic safe accommodation conditions for workers (2-month rectification period).

5. Improve workers’ dietary conditions and pay attention to dietary hygiene. Improve food poisoning prevention measures.

6. Establish a safety production inspection log. Personnel in charge of production safety must insist on inspecting key areas, sites, and roads every day, and deal with hidden dangers in a timely manner if they are discovered.

7. Adhere to the system of leadership leading the team to go down the well; establish a registration system for workers entering and exiting the well.

8. Improve the safety system, identify full-time safety officers, clarify responsibilities, strengthen monitoring and inspection, and keep safety production records.

9. Improve fire prevention, flood prevention, production safety and other related plans.

10. Strengthen guard management and refuse irrelevant personnel from entering the mining operation area.

11. Complete relevant licensing procedures in a timely manner.

Regarding the above safety hazards and rectification suggestions, your company is requested to attach great importance to them, study them carefully, formulate rectification measures as soon as possible, and rectify them item by item.
