Water saving investigation report (selected 3 articles)

When a certain situation or event needs to be clarified, it is necessary for us to investigate it carefully and finally write a valuable Investigative Report. How to write an investigation report appropriately? The following is a water-saving survey report (selected 3 articles) that I compiled for everyone. Welcome to read and collect.

Water Saving Survey Report 1

1. Purpose

There is only one space for human survival - the earth. Although oceans account for the majority of the earth's area, the water in the oceans is not drinkable, which means that 96.5% of the water in the oceans is useless. Water on land accounts for 3.5% of the earth, and they are the main source of water for production and living, accounting for 0.3%, accounting for 7/100,000 of the world's total water storage. If water conservation is not advocated and effectively implemented now, then the last drop of water on the earth will be our own tears. Therefore, we must start from a young age and vigorously promote and call for water conservation.

2. Visit and collection

In addition, I also collected the average water consumption of other cities and our city.

In Shanghai, the city’s per capita daily water consumption is 364 liters, and the per capita daily water consumption in rural areas is 117 liters.

At present, the per capita domestic water consumption in our city is 200 liters, and the daily water supply is 508 tons.

3. Data compilation

Average monthly water consumption

July 24 tons 8 tons

August 20 tons 6.66 tons< /p>

September 20 tons 6.66 tons

October 12 tons 4 tons

IV. Conclusion

We live in this beautiful blue If you have a sphere, you should know how to protect it. This time we will talk about saving water. Now, in fact, only 0.3% of the earth's water storage is drinkable. Our water consumption in Guangdong in January is 508 tons. What a huge data that is! In the future, as people have more children, more and more people will live in Shenzhen, and we also need to call for water conservation. People's awareness of water conservation is as weak as the tattered slogans on the street. The earth will be destroyed by us. If we remain like this, sooner or later one day, when we can no longer shed tears, we will ask in despair: What should we do without water?

5. Water-saving methods

Now I will introduce some water-saving methods to you:

When we finish drinking the mineral water bottle, fill it up Water is put into the toilet box to ensure water pressure and save water every time you flush.

Washing rice, washing vegetables, mopping the floor, watering flowers. The water used for washing clothes can also be used to flush toilets. I will drink the remaining tea and mineral water and use it to water the flowers.

When brushing your teeth, do not drain the water continuously for 30 seconds, and use 60 liters of water. Water Saving Survey Report 2

Water is the most abundant compound on earth. About three-quarters of the world is covered with water. The total volume of water on the earth is about 1.386 billion cubic kilometers, 96.5% of which is distributed in the ocean, and fresh water is only about 35 million cubic kilometers. If we exclude inaccessible glaciers and ice caps on mountain tops, as well as the water distributed in saline lakes and inland seas, the amount of water in freshwater lakes and rivers on land is less than 1% of the earth's total water.

Due to different geographical environments, countries and regions around the world have very different amounts of water resources. Ranked according to the amount of water resources, the top ones are: Brazil, Russia, Canada, the United States, Indonesia, China, and India. If calculated based on the population average, it would be another result. China's per capita water resources are equivalent to 1/4 of the world's per capita water resources.

Our country is a country with water shortages and frequent floods and droughts. If we consider the total amount of water resources, the total amount of water resources ranks sixth in the world. However, our country has a large population. If we consider the amount of water resources per capita, According to calculations, the per capita water occupancy is only 2,500 cubic meters, which is about 1/4 of the world's per capita water volume, ranking 110th in the world. According to the statistics of 149 countries, the United Nations' 1990 population statistics results are uniformly adopted. It has been listed as one of the 13 water-poor countries by the United Nations.

Under the current situation of extreme scarcity of water resources, we humans do not know how to cherish it. While we wantonly ask for precious water resources from nature, we are also blindly destroying and polluting water resources. This is Our human sorrow is also our unshirkable responsibility as frontline water quality monitoring workers to raise our arms to appeal, enlighten and awaken people's awareness of water resource protection. According to statistics, groundwater in major cities across the country is polluted to varying degrees, and 54 of the country's 78 major rivers are polluted. Half of the river sections of the seven major river systems are polluted, and 86% of the urban river sections are polluted beyond the standard. The more serious ones include: the Yellow River, Huaihe River, Liaohe River, Taihu Lake, Chaohu Lake, Dianchi Lake and other rivers and lakes.

In actual monitoring, we can clearly find that harmful substances in water include:

1. Organic substances, such as phenolic compounds, there are more than 2,000 kinds, the simplest is phenol, All are highly toxic substances; nitrile compounds are also toxic, among which acrylonitrile has the most attention-grabbing environmental impact. These organic poisons, like other pesticides and organic products, are mostly washed by rainwater and then flow directly into rivers, lakes and seas, causing water pollution. There are currently about 6,000 kinds of organic pesticides in the world, and about 200 are commonly used. Pesticides sprayed on farmland enter water bodies through leaching and other effects, causing pollution. Organic pesticides can be divided into organophosphorus pesticides and organochlorine pesticides. Although organophosphorus pesticides are highly toxic, they are generally easy to degrade and have low accumulation potential, so their impact on the ecosystem is not obvious. However, the vast majority of organochlorine pesticides are highly toxic, hardly degrade, have high accumulation potential, and have no significant impact on the ecosystem. system has a significant impact.

2. Heavy metals such as mercury, cadmium, chromium, lead, vanadium, cobalt, barium, etc. Among them, mercury, cadmium, and lead are more harmful; arsenic, selenium, and beryllium are also more toxic. Heavy metals generally do not disappear in nature and can be accumulated through the food chain. In addition to directly acting on the human body and causing diseases, some metals may also promote the development of chronic diseases.

3. Domestic sewage, livestock and poultry farm sewage, and wastewater discharged from tanning, wool scouring, slaughtering industries, and hospitals often contain various pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria, and parasites. Direct discharge of these water bodies will pollute new water bodies, which can cause schistosomiasis, cholera, typhoid, dysentery, viral hepatitis and other diseases. Some of the epidemic plagues in history were water-borne infectious diseases. For example, there were two cholera epidemics in Britain in 1848 and 1854, killing more than 10,000 people; in 1892, cholera epidemic occurred in Hamburg, Germany, and more than 750 people died. Both were caused by water pollution caused by microorganisms such as schistosomiasis, viruses, bacteria, parasites, etc. The World Health Organization points out that about 5 million people around the world die from water-related diseases every year. Unclean drinking water is among the top ten killers threatening human health. Finally, it should be recognized that it is urgent to control the current water pollution situation. [1]

To save water, we must first have water resources to save, and we must start from the side and start from small things. Nowadays, major universities across the country are expanding their enrollment year by year. The number of students in each university is increasing year by year, and water consumption has also increased significantly. College students have become one of the largest water users in the public sector. We are now conducting a survey on college students' awareness of water conservation through a questionnaire. It is hoped that through the form of questionnaire, contemporary college students will pay attention to my country's water resources situation, and have the awareness of water conservation, pay attention to the waste of water resources, always pay attention to water conservation, and make their own contribution to the national water conservation cause.

In this survey, the respondents were college students from colleges and universities in more than ten provinces and cities, including Anhui, Zhejiang, Hunan, Tianjin, Jiangxi, and Beijing. About half of them were men and women, distributed in Each grade, therefore, the reliability of the survey results of this questionnaire is relatively high.

Regarding the status of my country’s water resources, 47.45% of the college students surveyed believe that my country’s water resources are facing a crisis, and 39.42% of the respondents feel that the status of my country’s water resources is average, but sufficient for people’s use. The remaining few people have a positive attitude towards our country's water resources situation and believe that our country's water resources situation is good and there is no need to worry. I personally believe that our country's water resources are facing a crisis, and the waste and pollution of water resources cannot be underestimated!

Faced with the causes of water pollution in our country, everyone has their own opinions. The main views are as follows: According to survey statistics, more than half of the respondents believe that the most serious waste of water resources lies in industry. , 21.90% of the remaining people believe that the largest amount of water resources is wasted in domestic water use, and the remaining minority believe that the service industry and agriculture are the most wasteful, with agriculture accounting for the smallest proportion.

Regarding this issue, the interviewees all said that the speed of economic development can be appropriately slowed down to protect the environment and restore a good water environment to the earth.

Nowadays, in public places, we often see that the faucet is not closed tightly. Regarding this situation, almost all the interviewees’ attitude is that they will immediately close it no matter where they are. There will be no waste of water resources. In daily life, we often see some water-saving slogans beside the faucets. Regarding this kind of propaganda, most of the college students interviewed said that these slogans have a certain enlightening effect on them, and they will pay special attention to water conservation. This also shows that the effect of this publicity method is immediate and can be used frequently as one of the effective publicity methods.

In addition to being in public places, most respondents said they would try their best to save water at home. For example, when taking a bath in the summer, 83.21% of college students would choose to take a shower, which is simple and quick, and saves water. The most effective way is to avoid taking a bath because of comfort.

Facing such a bad water situation in the world today, relevant parties have made their own efforts and taken some measures. In order to supervise and encourage citizens to save water, the government has adopted the method of raising water prices. Regarding the government's approach, 53.28% of the respondents agreed with this approach and felt that this approach effectively alleviated the pressure on water resources, but 42.34% also People think that this approach is of no use. It only increases the burden on water users and does not encourage people to save water. In addition, since the respondents are all college students, a very small number of people (4.38%) believe that this government measure has nothing to do with it. I personally do not agree with this idea. I think water resources issues are closely related to everyone and should not be indifferent.

Regarding water resources issues, relevant departments will hold some activities to promote water conservation from time to time. Most people are not optimistic about this move. Everyone feels that the publicity activities are only held for a short period of time after the event. It is effective within a short period of time, but loses its effect over time. Some people even think that this is just a waste of manpower and material resources.

On a personal level, 98.54% of the respondents strongly support water conservation. In their view, the solution to water resources problems cannot be achieved overnight, but must be achieved step by step. Accumulation, a little makes a lot. Regrettably, although everyone believes that saving water resources should start with oneself, among the college students surveyed, 40.88% actually have water-saving habits, such as water recycling, which is less than half. People only pay attention to water-saving habits occasionally, and 4.38% of people even have no water-saving habits. This phenomenon is really worrying.

The country is currently studying the generation of recycled water. More than half of the people said they can accept recycled water suitable for drinking, while 33.58% of the respondents still think that recycled water can be used, but it must not be drunk. They There is no psychological barrier that can be overcome. This is understandable, but I also hope that everyone can trust the country, drink with confidence, and contribute to water conservation.

At the end of the questionnaire, everyone was asked for their objective evaluation of their own water conservation. The results are as follows:

Through this questionnaire, we can understand how college students feel about my country’s water resources situation. They have a more detailed understanding, and strongly support the adoption of some water-saving measures, and are willing to participate in water-saving actions. However, college students have poor awareness of water-saving and have few daily water-saving habits. I hope that students will Raise awareness of water conservation and be an important and active participant in water conservation actions, rather than a spectator or an evaluator.

Here, I would like to make some suggestions on the country’s water resources issues:

First, give priority to water conservation.

This is mainly reflected in controlling demand and creating a water-saving society. In the process of national development, we should choose appropriate development projects, establish the concept of "how much water can be used to do as many things as possible", and eliminate the waste of water resources. At the same time, good management and technical means need to be adopted to improve water resource utilization. Actively develop water-saving industrial and agricultural technologies, vigorously promote the application of water-saving appliances, and discover and eliminate water leaks, including leaks in water-using appliances and water delivery pipe networks.

The second is to control pollution.

This requires that my country’s water pollution prevention and control strategy should be adjusted as soon as possible, from terminal treatment to source control and full-process control. With the development of the economy, the discharge of industrial wastewater will continue to grow, and pollutants will also increase.

If we vigorously promote cleaner production and implement source control and full-process control of pollutant emissions, pollutant emissions will be significantly reduced, and industrial production can increase production without increasing pollution.

The third is open source through multiple channels.

This mainly refers to the development of non-traditional water resources. Qian Yi pointed out that in order to improve water supply capacity, in the past, the main focus was on the development of traditional water resources, that is, the development of local surface water and groundwater. When it was discovered that groundwater levels continued to decline and surface water gradually dried up, long-distance water transfer was considered. In addition to requiring very expensive infrastructure investment and operating costs, long-distance water transfer also faces difficulties in construction and management. At the same time, ecological impact has become another important issue that people are concerned about in recent years.

The whole society must establish an environmental awareness of water conservation, emission reduction and pollution prevention and control. Residents should start from themselves. They should not only be aware of water conservation, but also regard pollution prevention as a daily routine. Only when the whole society establishes an environmental awareness of saving water and reducing emissions, will it be possible for us to regain truly clear water and blue sky. For some key enterprises that discharge sewage, they should not just focus on the pursuit of efficiency, but should have a strategic vision for sustainable development. While pursuing efficiency, we must also increase investment in emissions control. As a national management level, we must do a good job in environmental protection education at an overall level, ensure environmental protection investment to the best of our ability, and make pollution control the top priority of government work in practical actions.

In short, controlling water pollution is not the responsibility of a single person or a certain region. It should form a common sense in the whole society. Only by elevating water conservation and pollution prevention and control to a global strategy and a matter of life and death for mankind can social economy and human civilization truly embark on the path of sustainable development.

As college students and the future successors of socialism, we must start from ourselves, start from around us, and from now on, we must improve our water-saving awareness, cultivate water-saving habits, and take action to save ourselves. Contribute your own strength to your family, society, motherland, and the world! Water Saving Survey Report 3

Water is the source of life, and our lives cannot be separated from water. According to our usual observations, the current water resources pollution situation is quite serious. We don’t know what the residents’ current awareness of water conservation is. Therefore, we decided to use Dongfeng Village near Jiangsu University as the survey site to conduct a questionnaire survey on residents’ awareness of water conservation. .

This survey is located in Dongfeng Village near Jiangsu University. This village is a place with a dense floating population and is adjacent to a vegetable market with a large flow of people. Its coverage is large, which makes it possible to conduct the survey. The data is widely targeted, and most of the people who come and go are doing housework and have more contact with water than other members of the family. Therefore, the data can more accurately reflect the water use situation of the entire Dongfeng Village residents.

In this questionnaire survey, our team members made 100 questionnaires in one go. During the survey process, we selected 62 respondents and conducted a questionnaire survey on them. During the survey, At the same time, we also carried out publicity on water conservation, which received active cooperation from residents and produced a good response.

The survey results are summarized as follows:

1. Personnel coverage:

The participants in this questionnaire survey are mainly villagers in Dongfeng Village. Since part of the questionnaire survey takes place at the market near Dongfeng Village, there will be some people from surrounding villages.

2. Understand the water consumption situation of residents:

After summarizing and calculating the information from the questionnaire survey, it was calculated that the per capita monthly water consumption of Dongfeng Village villagers is 8.35 cubic meters, and the survey showed that, The per capita monthly water consumption of households with the highest water consumption is as high as 15 cubic meters, while the lowest water consumption is only 1.6 cubic meters, which is a large difference.

3. The water-saving awareness of residents:

1. When washing vegetables and dishes, 27.5% of people choose to turn on the faucet, and 72.5% of people choose to pour water into the basin.

2. When washing their hands, 73.9% of people choose to turn the water on a low volume, 15.2% prefer to turn the water on a high volume, and 10.9% prefer to turn the water on a high volume. Depends on your mood;

3. Regarding waste water that can be reused in daily life, such as water for washing clothes, water for washing vegetables, etc., 65.4% of people dump the water directly, and 34.6% choose Put the water aside and reuse it if you have the opportunity;

4. Regarding recycling water in daily life, 25% of people often do this, 55% of people occasionally recycle water, and the remaining 20% ??basically do not ;

5. When asked about how to turn off the faucet when they see it, 65% of people think that they will definitely turn it off at home, but they are not sure when they are outside. 19% of people think there is no other way to do it. 16% of people will take the initiative to do so;

6. When answering whether they are willing to buy commonly used water-saving appliances, 47.5% of people said they are willing to buy them, and 37.5% said they are willing to buy them. 7. Regarding recycled water suitable for drinking, 45% of the villagers think it is acceptable, and 34.2% of the people are not satisfied with it. Concerns, 20.8% of people chose not to accept it;

8. People often take baths at home in summer. When it comes to how to use water for bathing, 85% of people think that showering is better and saves water resources, and 10% of people choose to be comfortable. When it comes to taking a bath, 5% of people choose to take a shower or take a bath depending on whether they have enough time.

4. During the questionnaire survey, we learned about the common methods of saving water in villagers’ current lives:

(1) Use water for washing vegetables, washing clothes, and washing faces. Use water to mop the floor, water the flowers and flush the toilet;

(2) Use a basin to catch the water when washing your face, vegetables and dishes, do not rinse with water;

(3) Take a bath or shower when taking a bath;

(4) Use a water-saving device.

Through the statistics of questionnaires, we found that villagers have more or less awareness of water conservation, but their water conservation is mainly limited to the water consumption of their own families or people. Many people cannot really save water. In order to save water in society, we deliberately save water, which can be seen from the survey results of the fifth question. Therefore, villagers' water-saving concepts need to be improved.

During the investigation, we discovered a problem. Most of the villagers could take certain measures to save water. However, perhaps because of the limitations of water-saving methods, the effect of saving water was not very good. obvious. Therefore, it is very necessary to promote water conservation to residents, and in view of the singleness of residents' water conservation, we

should introduce more methods to residents on how to save water, so as to save water. Water advocacy will be stronger and more effective.

Nowadays, the water resources situation is getting worse day by day. If water conservation can be carried out in residents' daily lives, then if each household can save an average of 1 cubic meter of water, then the villagers of Dongfeng Village can immediately How much water can be saved, and how many things can be done with this water?

Save water, start from scratch. ;
