Why don’t Canadians speak French anymore?

Canada’s official languages ??are English and French. All government documents, as well as various reminders, slogans, websites, etc. are in both English and French. Students also learn French and English at school. But the main French-speaking area is in Quebec. English is the main language in other areas. Language needs to be practiced. People in French-speaking areas don't often speak English. I gradually stopped talking. The same is true for people in English-speaking areas.
