What methods should we pay attention to when weeding wheat fields? Methods for weeding wheat fields!
Wheat field weeds compete with wheat seedlings for nutrients, water, sunlight and space, hindering field ventilation and light transmission, increasing local climate temperatures, and interfering with the growth of target crops, thereby reducing crop yield and quality.
Therefore, weeds in wheat fields must be controlled.
The occurrence patterns and prevention measures of weeds in wheat fields
Weeds have two peak germination periods. They usually germinate in late October before winter, about 10 to 20 days later than wheat germination; It matures in early May, about 20 days earlier than wheat.
The peak emergence periods are before overwintering (late October to late November) and after overwintering from the jointing stage to the flowering stage (mid-March to the end of April). The main weeds that emerge before overwintering are sow seeds. Artemisia annua, shepherd's purse, Maijiagong, Zhupaipang, Jiejiemai, Popona, Zeqi, rice crock pot, etc.; the main weeds that emerge after overwintering include thistle, field bindweed, pigweed, pigweed, etc.
Suitable weeding period
The control period is mainly during the wheat seedling stage (mid-late November to early-mid December) and the second spring (late February to early March) ).
In the wheat seedling stage, the weeds in the field are small and have underdeveloped root systems, requiring less pesticides and good control effects; in the second spring (late February to early March), weeds have been trained at low temperatures in winter, and the weeds become The grass is large and the root system is relatively developed, so the dosage of pesticides increases and the control effect becomes worse.
The combined use of pesticides has good control effects
According to the application method, it can be divided into soil treatment and stem and leaf treatment. Pre-emergent herbicides are used for soil treatment, and post-emergent herbicides are used for stem and leaf treatment.
The commonly used herbicide for soil treatment is 33% flufenacet, flufenacet, and furosemide suspension. The recommended dosage of active ingredients per hectare is 324 to 432 grams, which is approximately equivalent to the preparation per acre. 45.5~87.3 grams.
Stem and leaf treatment: Since grasses and broadleaf weeds occur at the same time, the selection of pesticides is usually a combination.
Temperature and moisture will affect the control effect
In order to ensure better weeding effect, the application time should be chosen after all the weeds have emerged in the wheat field; the temperature should be kept above 6°C. And around 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; the moisture should be good, and the soil should not be too wet or too dry, otherwise the control effect will be affected.
