In the second year of Emperor Jing of Zhou (580), Emperor Wendi of Sui tried to take Zhou's place, and Wei Chijiong, the general manager of Xiangzhou, fought against Ye, but failed. Emperor Wendi of Sui Dynasty burned Yecheng, and the Millennium name was reduced to ruins.

Yecheng site is located on the bank of Zhanghe River in Linzhang County, which is18km north of Anyang City, Henan Province. It is an important ancient capital site and one of the main contents of Yinye culture.

Cao Cao also built three famous platforms according to the city wall, namely Jinfeng Terrace, Tongque Terrace and Bingjing Terrace. Cao Cao's father and son feasted and composed poems here, creating the famous Three Caos and Seven Sons, which left the reputation of "Jian 'an Style" for later generations, and was a much-told story in the history of China literature.

Southern Yecheng was built in the Eastern Wei Dynasty, with a length of 6 miles from east to west and 8 miles from north to south, with steps 18. Many luxurious buildings have been built, such as Taijitang, Zhaoyang Hall and Xiandu Garden.

During this period, the rulers especially advocated Buddhism and spared no effort to build Buddhist cave temples, leaving us many immortal cultural relics, such as Lingquan Temple, Wanfo Valley, Beiqi Grottoes, Xiangtangshan Grottoes and Honggu Temple Scenic Area. Some of them are closely related to the famous Shaolin Temple.

The county will entrust China Institute of Cultural Relics to compile four detailed plans: Santai Site Protection Area, Yecheng Underground Hidden City Gate Site Protection Area, Zhumingmen Site Protection Area and Imperial Temple Protection Area. Build key protection facilities such as "one city", "three parks" and "two museums". "One city", that is, relying on the implementation of the "Yecheng Site Protection Master Plan", the Yecheng Site Protection Zone will be built; "Three Gardens", namely Tongque Santai Garden, Nixinzhuang Palace Garden and Zhumingmen Ruins Garden; "Two museums", namely Yecheng Museum and Jian 'an Literature Museum. With the gradual completion of these protection facilities, the Yecheng site will gradually reveal its "true content".
