" This northern folk song vividly depicts the magnificent scene of rich water plants and fat cattle and sheep. For many years, whenever people sing this folk song, the vast green grassland is fascinating. Nowadays, the scene of "seeing cattle and sheep in the wind" has long since ceased to exist. What is left to us is more sadness and helplessness.

Once upon a time, we were glad to have inexhaustible energy; I was once complacent that "digging coal underground will last the world for 300 years"; We are even more proud that we have a green earth. But today, when we look at the reality, we find that the earth is full of holes and vulnerable: glaciers begin to melt, sandstorms occur year after year, extreme weather occurs frequently, and rare species are decreasing day by day. It should be the season when grass is flying and peach blossoms are in full bloom, but it often snows.

We can't help asking: What happened to the earth? There is no doubt that this is the result of excessive demand and destruction of nature by human beings.

Lop Nur Lake used to be one of the largest waters in Central Asia, full of waterfowl and reeds, so going by boat is no different from Jiangnan. Now, a piece of Wang Yang is gone forever, replaced by a place of death buried by quicksand.

The growth of economic indicators brought by Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park once made local officials proud. However, behind the pride is the pain and indignation of countless people. Groaning in a hospital bed is a condemnation of environmental pollution in the past six years!

Some people may say that the pollution of those factories and mines is beyond our ordinary people's control and has nothing to do with us. However, when you endure the sudden change of temperature, when you have gradually forgotten the feeling of spring, when you occasionally look up and find that the blue sky is not so blue, and even when you have to escape from the earth like in the movie 20 12, can you still say that it has nothing to do with you?

Do you know that?/You know what? The plastic shopping bag in your hand, the disposable lunch box you use when eating fast food, the phosphorus-containing washing powder you use when washing clothes, and the computer and TV you can't live without every day are actually the sources of carbon dioxide.

Teachers and students, please remember our responsibility: it is urgent to protect the environment. Low-carbon life, start with me.

Low carbon life is actually very simple for ordinary citizens. It doesn't need us to aim high and make great achievements. As long as we pay attention to every bit of life, it only needs a small move. If each of us buys less 1 piece of clothes, uses less 1 washing machine, smokes less 1 cigarette and loses less paper every year, all these will contribute to energy conservation and emission reduction.

Maybe now you don't believe that a small force will bring infinite benefits to the whole world, but if you do, you will really do a great thing that is beneficial to the earth and the environment.

Perhaps our actions are insignificant, but I believe that we can gather together into the beautiful sunshine of life with the confidence and strength of gathering sand into a tower! As long as we concentrate on reducing carbon emissions per gram, we also have the power to change the future in the process of protecting the earth and caring for our mother!
