How are people in the shelter hospital isolated?

At present, because the capacity of Shanghai Fangcang Hospital can't keep up with the outbreak rate of COVID-19 infected people, some infected people or close contacts have to be isolated at home. However, due to the prevention and control policies, there are no detailed and standardized operational requirements for home isolation. Now it is a fait accompli that some infected people are isolated at home, so it is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control measures of home isolation, otherwise once a large area is broken, the situation will be irreparable.

For all positive infected people or close contacts, if it is temporarily impossible to transport them, I suggest:

1, prevention and control personnel must go to the living place of infected persons or close contacts to check whether they meet the conditions of home isolation. For example, whether the pipeline may be infected with virus, whether the infected person has a single room to live in isolation, whether the domestic garbage disposal is safe and controllable, and require the infected person or secret contact to sign a legal commitment letter. Once the violation occurs, the consequences will be at your own risk;

2. Be sure to inform the COVID-19 negative people who live together of the necessary isolation safety measures.

4) Infected people are not allowed to throw away anything at will.

6) Infected persons or close contacts must change clothes and trousers and put them into sterilized containers, such as cartons and plastic bags.

7) Infected persons can independently use common items such as chargers, computers and mobile phones, and may not share them with others;

Neighborhood committees and epidemic prevention personnel in the jurisdiction should have fixed personnel and services, such as nucleic acid detection, body temperature monitoring, dispensing, disinfection, garbage disposal, wastewater treatment measures and personnel monitoring. Retired medical staff in the same community can be mobilized to participate in these work as volunteers;

4. For some infected people and close contacts who are not suitable for home isolation, it is suggested that all districts should replace such infected people or close contacts who must stay in the receiving hospital with infected people or close contacts who have occupied the beds in the receiving hospital and meet the conditions of home isolation. This can temporarily meet the prevention and control requirements of all harvests.

5. If an infected person or close contact person has a handover process with the outside world (such as a person living alone), it is necessary to strictly follow the provisions of non-contact handover and disinfection of articles, and pay attention to safety precautions when doing nucleic acid testing, and there shall be no omissions. For example: keep a distance, volunteers and epidemic prevention personnel must wear disinfection protective clothing;

6. For infected persons or close contacts who are really difficult to transport out, the epidemic prevention personnel shall decide whether to go to the hospital for treatment or isolate them to the receiving hospital according to the living conditions and physical conditions of the infected persons or close contacts. However, we must not stop going to the hospice hospital because of insurmountable difficulties. If everyone has difficulties, prevention and control measures will be useless.

7. Close contacts must be isolated in a separate room to minimize the possibility of direct contact. Security measures must be taken to isolate the admitted secret-related personnel or isolate them at home, so that the secret-related personnel cannot be infected and there is no chance that the secret-related personnel may infect others. Infected people can enjoy space in large hospice hospitals, but close contacts must be isolated in different ways.
