Where does Shabei Village belong?

Shabei Village is located in the south of Da Nanshan, 0/7 km away from the township/kloc-,bordering Houping and Qianshan in the east, Leiling Town and Huilai County in the south, Damaoshan (452m above sea level), the highest peak in the town, in the west and Houan Village in Dangang Town in the north. There are 438 households in the village, 3 1, 7 1 person, and the mountainous area is 1 1, 300 mu. It is a remote mountain village in Narita town and an old revolutionary village during World War II. Because the Dalongxi River system flows in front of the village, it flows into the reservoir, and the sediment deposits at the edge of the reservoir, forming a bunker, hence the name.

1924- 1927 Around this year, Lufeng, the leader of the agricultural and livestock movement headed by Comrade Peng Pai, a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, and the wave of agricultural and livestock movement in Shanghai swept through Chaoshan counties. The leading organs of agricultural transportation at the provincial and county levels have sent people to the countryside to light fires. Liu Pi Township Government (township head: NANBERT ZHONG Tian, battalion chief: Zhang Helin, office located in Shapi Village) established in Shapi, Houping, Qianshan, Sanhu, Wenshao, Hu Ning, Houan and Wufeng (known as "Old Eight Townships" in history) actively carried out guerrilla warfare. 1928, Huang Nianjian, Li and other comrades went to Shapi Sanjieshui to hold the inaugural meeting of the farmers' association (also known as the Plough People's Association) in the eastern part of the township and Huilai. The villagers in northern Shabei held high the plough flag and shouted slogans to promote democracy, safeguard the interests of farmers and ignite the spark of revolution. 1948, the Pratt & Whitney County Committee and the second detachment of the Fujian-Guangdong-Jiangxi Border Column 1 1 group were also established in Shapi Village. The revolutionary war in Shapei Village became an important part of the revolutionary movement in Da Nan Shan. Shapi Village, the old village, has the ruins of the Red Army's war station and canteen at that time.

1950, the people's government of Chaoyang county built the upper dam reservoir of Dalongxi to solve the problem of people's water conservancy security. In order to meet the needs of construction, Shapei Village rebuilt the village road which was originally located in the flat area halfway up the mountain.

Shapi Village is also the hometown of key cultural relics in Narita Town. According to relevant historical records, there is Wanyaoshan, the kiln site of Amin Dynasty, about 1 km away from Shapi Village site. The site covers an area of about 10 square meter, and at a depth of about 1 m, there are bowls, dishes, plates and other residual porcelain fragments, which are yellow or light blue and have long natural openings. There is a tomb cave in the site during Guangxu period, which cannot be excavated. It is estimated that the kiln site is under the tomb. The revolutionary cultural relics in Shapi Village also include a cave in the tomb of the Red Army martyrs and 1 Japanese command knife (the knife is about 1 m long and 0.06 m wide, with a sharp blade, a bronze armguard and a dragon carved on it). This knife is the criminal evidence left by Japanese Shaozuo when the Japanese invaded Shapi Village in 3 1 (1942). There is a small waterfall on the back hill of the village.

Due to the remote geographical location and inconvenient transportation, Shapi Village's economic development is slow and there are no enterprises in the village. Many villagers go out to work and their living standards are low. With the attention and support of all levels and all walks of life, more than 20 million yuan has been invested in poverty alleviation funds in recent years. Rebuilding Yuantanzai Bridge, Shui Ge Bridge and other dangerous bridges, installing telephone lines and power supply lines, strengthening reservoirs, building mobile phone base stations and village sites, planting trees, housing projects, building farmers' new villages in Li Guanghua, paving cement pavements on the main roads of the village, etc., have changed the face of Shapi Village.

Zhang Changcheng, a member of the Chinese Dramatists Association, a national second-class actor, an art consultant of Guangdong Chaozhou Theatre and a famous Chaozhou opera veteran, is a native of this village.

Shapi Village is near Dongshan Lake Hot Spring Resort, Shen Xi Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, Narita Qixing Temple, Wugui Temple, and Red Army Revolutionary Slogans in Nanshan. There are special products such as sugar onion pancakes, casserole fish, fried poached fish, braised sea cucumber and braised Mingpi.
