The origin of sausage

When it comes to sausages, we must start with the wild boar, the ancestor of domestic pigs. In A.D. 1492 and 1500, Italians Columbus and Amerigo brought summer pigs (East Asian pigs) to Europe from the local indigenous West Indies (China descendants Indians) on behalf of the Spanish and Portuguese governments respectively, thus becoming the ancestors of today's European pigs. So, when did we humans start eating sausages? In fact, the answer is simple: this is the concept of "sausage" since humans began to eat hunting pork! However, in ancient China, it was not called "sausage" but "sausage", that is, sausage made in winter! Looking closer, it turned out that an old man was burning a bamboo tube on the fire under the dresser, with two big stones stacked on top of each other. He kept turning the bamboo tube in his hand. Su Dongpo asked, "Old man, what are you doing?" The old man just smiled and continued to bake bamboo tubes on the fire. After a while, the old man split the bamboo tube with a wood knife, and a strong barbecue smell came to the nose. The old man told Su Dongpo: "This is called' ham sausage'." It means to put chopped pig hind legs in a bamboo tube and cook them on the fire, which is called "ham sausage" for short! But today, the so-called "ham sausage" is actually wrapped in plastic paper and made into the shape of sausage, hence the name "ham sausage".
