In the first few years, the ice cream produced was only produced by manufacturers without brands; As for Wuyang ice cream, because of its long history, there are at least two opinions about its coming out: according to the records of Guangzhou, Wuyang ice cream should come out no earlier than1969; However, the former employees of Guangzhou People's Food Factory firmly believe that Wuyang ice cream existed before the Cultural Revolution, and the early 1960s should be the time when Wuyang ice cream came out.
No matter which statement is closer to the truth, there is no doubt that Wuyang ice cream has risen rapidly under the background of industrialization. Because of the high cost of ice cream in private ice room, the price was sold from a few cents to one and a half yuan at that time, while the retail unit price of Wuyang ice cream cone was 34 cents, which was obviously competitive. At the same time, compared with the ice cream in private ice room, Wuyang brand ice cream is larger, more regular in shape and more stable in composition and nutrition. If it weren't for the influence of the Cultural Revolution, the sales of Wuyang ice cream would have continued to rise-but with the arrival of the Cultural Revolution, Wuyang ice cream was ordered to be renamed by the relevant departments because of the so-called feudal consciousness (this detail is also circumstantial evidence that Wuyang brand ice cream existed as early as before the Cultural Revolution).
Strengthen technological innovation and new product development, and strictly control product quality.
After the joint venture between Nestle and Wuyang, more than 30 new products are put on the market every year, which has achieved good economic benefits. He introduced advanced production lines, such as the vat production line for producing Nestle's core strategic product-flower core tube, and established a new product development laboratory to promote the development of new products.
In 2003, the national quality inspection department carried out the "QS" certification of food quality and safety, and Guangzhou Frozen Food Co., Ltd. became one of the first eight certified ice cream enterprises in China. Now all the products of the company have the "QS" logo. From June, 5438 to February, 2006, we obtained the Certificate of Product Quality Exemption issued by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.
He strengthened market development and cooperation with wholesalers. In 2006, compared with 2005, Wuyang brand ice cream increased by 23% and Nestle brand ice cream increased by 30%. Make Nestle brand and Wuyang brand ice cream products keep the leading position in the market. From 2002 to 2005, it won the title of Guangzhou famous trademark.
