How to divide the left and right couplets

It depends on the writing order of the horizontal batch. If the horizontal batch is written from right to left, the bottom line is on the left. On the other hand, if the horizontal batch is written from left to right, the left side is the upper half. Couplets are one of the traditional cultures in China, also known as couplets or couplets. It can be divided into an upper part and a lower part. When facing the gate, the one attached to the right is the upper part, the one attached to the left is the lower part, and the one attached to the middle is called the horizontal batch. The distinction between left and right conjunctions is mainly made from five aspects: leveling, content causality, time sequence, space size and language habits.

Distinguishing methods of up and down links:

1, leveling point by word. The antithetical couplets pay more attention to leveling, which is the characteristic of antithetical couplets. Specifically, the last word of the upper couplet is usually a hyphen, and the last word of the lower couplet is usually a flat voice, otherwise it will be awkward to read.

2, according to the left and right direction. When pasting couplets, the first couplet should be pasted on the right side, and the second couplet should be pasted on the left side, and the right and left sides should be divided by the gate or pilaster. The reason for posting this way is that writing is from right to left, so reading couplets is also from right to left.

3. In chronological order. That is, the first time is the upper part, and the last time is the lower part. For example, "the door welcomes the blessings of spring, summer, autumn and winter, and the door embraces the blessings of east, west, north and south."

4. According to language habits. For example, "Happiness flows like the east sea, and life expectancy is lighter than that of Nanshan".

5. According to causality. That is, "cause" is the upper part and "effect" is the lower part.

6. According to the site scope. In terms of time, space and specific things, it is generally from left to right, from big to small, such as "happy every year, full moon."
