Letters to children in hometown

Dear students:

Thank you for writing to me, many letters! I counted ***40 letters, as if you were all standing in front of me, in a hurry, talking nonstop, so lively! Children in my hometown, thank you for bringing warmth to the old man.

I'm sick, I have trouble writing, and the hand with the pen won't listen to me. Don't say that it is difficult to write a letter to every student, or just like Guo, a fifth-grade student, write a letter to everyone in a short paragraph. Sometimes a pen weighs 1000 pounds in my hand. What shall we do? Anyway, I can't let the children in my hometown down. I finally picked up the pen. Please forgive me, I can't go home this year. It's not that I don't want to see you. On the contrary, I want to see your innocent smiling faces and hear your singing words. However, I don't have the physical and mental support to travel for such a long time. Then, let this letter meet you instead of me.

Don't treat me like an outstanding person, I'm just an ordinary person. I write not because I am talented, but because I have feelings and infinite love for my motherland and compatriots. I use my works to express my feelings. I am 87 years old. Looking back on the past today, we can't say failure or success. I just live my life honestly and ordinary. I have thought about it, I have pursued it, and I finally understand that the meaning of life lies in dedication rather than enjoyment. In my reply to the students of Heping Street Primary School, I said, "I would like to live, study and work again to make my life fruitful." Someone asked me what it means to have a harvest in life, and I said, "People don't live in vain, we live to add a little luster to the society in which we live." We can do this because each of us has more love, more sympathy, more experiences and more time than we need to survive. Only by spending them on others can our life blossom and bear fruit. Those who dedicate themselves and devote their lives to themselves will get nothing. "

Like others, I want to see my life blossom and bear fruit. But I can't live it again. I wasted a lot of time in the past, but now I have come to the end of the road, and there are not many days left. I cherish this limited moment very much.

Dear children in my hometown, I really envy you. There is a vast road in front of you, and there are such beautiful things in your heart. Cherish the precious time that can be used, study hard, hope is in you.

Sincerely bless everyone.

Ba Jin

199 1 may 15

The wealth left by Ba Jin.

A century of life, flowing through mountains and canyons, stopped at this moment. Ba Jin, how many people are calling this name, and how many people are crying that the towering trees in China's literary world have fallen.

"The motherland will always be by your side"

From 65438 to 0927, Ba Jin became the leader of China's literary world with his light and heat after being known by people with his first novel Death. Ba Jin's wealth is his 26-volume immortal works and his wonderful translation of 10. Ba Jin's wealth is his noble spiritual realm and perfect personality strength.

Patriotism is an important foundation of Ba Jin's two great wealth. Ba Jin 12 was deeply shocked by Yue Fei's patriotism and national spirit when he read Yue Quanzhuan. In the 1990s, Ba Jin was persuaded by everyone to go to Hangzhou for recuperation. Never afraid to trouble others, one day he made a request and wanted to see Yuefen. In front of the monument of Wen Zhiming's "Man Jiang Hong", Ba Jin, who is over 90 years old and usually inarticulate, recited this word like a primary school student, and his voice became clearer and louder: "Erase the remains on the monument and barely read it ... What can I do if I laugh at it?"

From 65438 to 0979, Ba Jin led a delegation of China writers to visit Paris. This is the first time that Ba Jin set foot on this land after leaving Paris for half a century. Revisiting the old place will have a lot of feelings for anyone. However, every morning, Ba Jin sits quietly in front of the window and sees not the street view of Paris, but Chang 'an Street in Beijing, Huaihai Road in Shanghai, Xizi Lake in Hangzhou, Eye Well in Chengdu, and the countryside in Guangzhou ... He said: "I always feel that no matter where I am abroad, I have a pair of loving eyes watching me. No matter where you go, you can't get rid of the motherland, and the motherland will always be by your side. "

"Let everyone have spring"

"Let everyone have a room to live in, every mouth is full of food, and every heart is warm." Ba Jin has always had this beautiful wish in his heart.

Ba Jin was born in a big feudal family in Chengdu. A loving mother is the first teacher in his life. He learned love and tolerance from his mother. Another teacher of Ba Jin's childhood was Lao Zhou, a sedan chair bearer. Lao Zhou always told him: "Be a good person and be true to others. No matter what others do to you, don't make mistakes. " "Fire should be hollow and people should be loyal."

As an adult, Ba Jin has been thinking about this question: What spirit and strength made the emaciated Lao Zhou speak this profound truth under such difficult conditions? This is benevolence, virtue and loyalty. It is these that are the spiritual roots of the Chinese nation and the foundation of being a man.

Ba Jin reflected his love and thoughts in his works. Opposing imperialism, feudalism and oppression and calling for equality, freedom and happiness are the main contents of Ba Jin's works. In many of Ba Jin's literary theories, we can read his fiery words: "Our life creed should be: act faithfully, love people enthusiastically and help those who need love." "My goal in life is to help people, let everyone have spring, everyone has light in their hearts, everyone's life can be happy, and everyone's development can be free."

Xiao Zhang and Xiao Wu followed Ba Lao from the countryside to work. Many years have passed in an instant. One day, Taifeng Zhai, then secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Writers Association, visited Ba Lao and asked him what he wanted. He never made any demands on the organization. He put forward without thinking: I hope to arrange the work of Xiao Zhang and Xiao Wu.

Benevolence, loyalty, righteousness, self-discipline and humanity accompanied Ba Jin all his life.

[Edit this paragraph] Famous aphorisms

In pursuit of light and heat, people would rather give up their lives. Life is lovely. But a cold and lonely life is not as good as a vigorous death.

Ba Jin is really great on his own road. Because he saw many unreasonable situations in front of him and couldn't stand the people's cries of pain, he also called for revolution. Revolution is bound to kill a great man, so his Du Daxin died (dead) and his revolutionary figures were destroyed (dead grandson). Later, he needed revenge for justice, underwater dreams for the trampling of a nation, Sardinia and fog for the injustice of the masses. In a word, all his works are sad for the evil in the world and cry for the unfortunate fate of mankind all over the world. Moreover, each of his works can bring a great mood to every young person, a mood towards the bright future. Naturally, what he thinks is another question. But what can be guaranteed is that he never gives off the smell of ordinary writers, especially "slogans" and "slogans". If an elephant hears others talking about a nation and a country, it will be dismissed as backward in thinking. This nasty habit can be said to be absolutely absent.

background

I'm afraid no one dares to deny such a great writer as Ba Jin, and no one dares to be pious.

However, it is always painful because it is great and universal. Dante is so, Dostoevsky is so, and so is our Mr. Ba Jin.

However, what I said about his pain is not material; As a man of material life and development, Ba Jin first went out from the middle school affiliated to Southeast University. After arriving in France in the name of work-study program, he endured the pain by eating cold bread in a civilian Latin quarter and lived in the lower class for two or three years. Even after I returned to Shanghai, I still worked as a foreign language proofreader in Ming Kai Bookstore. Ba Jin in this case, of course, is despised by the general big shots. However, it seems that Ba Jin is also very painful in material aspects, but in fact, his most painful thing is spiritual aspects. For example, in the preface to Revenge, he said:

"I am very busy during the day, I am busy, I laugh, I forget everything, laugh, because I am wearing a mask.

"I took off my mask in the dark and saw the face of the world. I lie down, I cry, cry for my helplessness, cry for seeing human suffering, ... "

Say it again:

"... my soul is crying for the injustice in the world. "This is the confession of his soul, that is, the confession of his pain. From these, we can know what kind of mental pain this writer is.

Ba Jin

Through a century, witnessing a hundred years of vicissitudes and depicting historical changes, a life is so heavy. The burning passion between his lines lit up the beacon of many souls; He walked in life sincerely and knocked on many people's hearts. His enthusiasm, anxiety and conscience run through his creation and life, and will always shine in the history of literature.

-Moved by China's acceptance speech in 2003, it is China's conscience for later generations to evaluate Ba Jin.

Learn from celebrities

Ba Jin: "My only wish is to turn into dirt and stay in people's warm footprints."

"Each of us has more love, more sympathy, more energy and more time, which is much more than what we need to survive. We must spend them on others, so that our life will blossom and bear fruit. Morality and selflessness are flower of life. "

"I hope everyone has a room to live in, every mouth has food to eat, and every heart is warm. I want to dry everyone's tears and never let anyone tear off a hair of others. "

When Ba Jin was young, he used to help Lao Zhou, a sedan chair bearer at home, make a fire and cook. Lao Zhou said, "People should be honest, and fire should be hollow." Ba Jin told reporters in his later years: "My works with millions of words are not as good as Lao Zhou's eight words."

In his creative career of more than 70 years, Ba Jin wrote10 million words and translated more than 4 million words. His works have been translated into more than 20 languages and spread all over the world. He is the China writer who has won the most international honors. 1999, the asteroid with international number 83 15 was named "Ba Jin Xing". In 20031October 25th 165438+ the State Council awarded him the honorary title of "Personal Famous Writer".

On his centenary birthday, CCTV's "Son of the East" column broadcast a special program: When you are there, the lights will light up.

"Celebrating the 800-year-old" wrote: Time is like water, and Ba Jin is like gold. True love, deep affection. Great wisdom leads to great consciousness, and it is easy to lift weights.

Make a masterpiece, indifferent to peace.

Why do we need Ba Jin just because there is only one left?

He once said, "When you are here, the light is on." This is Ba Jin's message to Bing Xin, which is now used to describe our memory of Ba Jin. Ba Jin is of special significance to us: we need the intellectual spirit of independent thinking and free speech. This spirit will not be "outdated" in any era and is precious.

Writer Card-Ba Jin

He used to be an old man of the century. He concentrated his passion and wisdom all his life, and wrote works about home, spring, autumn, fog, rain, electricity, germination, cold nights and random thoughts ... which left us thousands of words.
