What are the basic principles of radar combat operations?

In modern air defense and air defense operations, it is unthinkable to organize air defense and air defense campaigns to deal with enemy air and space attacks, or to defend airspace security in peacetime and deal with local wars or emergencies. The role and position of radar soldiers in modern air defense and sky defense operations determine the basic principles of their combat operations: mainly the following points.

1. Pre-layout, proactive

According to the national air defense strategy, radar soldiers must establish a strong overall concept, obey the overall needs, give full play to the tactical and technical performance of radar equipment, and actively complete tasks such as early warning, alert reconnaissance, target indication, command and guidance, navigation and control of space weapons, ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and aircraft.

2. Discover as much as possible and keep mastering it.

Only by finding, accurately identifying and constantly mastering the enemy's air attack weapons as much as possible can the state and troops be fully prepared, and commanders can make correct decisions and use active weapons appropriately to fight back.

3. Closely monitor and leave no blind spots.

Modern air-raid weapons can not only penetrate from high altitude, but also penetrate from low altitude and ultra-low altitude by various means.

Therefore, the combat operations of radar soldiers must be closely monitored, leaving no blind spots. The combination of over-the-horizon radar, low-altitude radar, blind-compensating radar, early warning aircraft, ball-borne radar and other means forms a closely monitored radar detection and early warning system, leaving no blind spots, so that enemy air attack weapons can be used seamlessly, especially strengthening the surveillance of stealth targets and low-altitude and ultra-low-altitude targets. In addition, it is necessary to arrange radar duty to ensure that the whole network is seamless 24 hours a day and night.

4. Unified use and close cooperation

Modern radar is very expensive. In order to achieve the maximum cost-effectiveness ratio, we must give full play to the role of weapons in all aspects, and all kinds of radars should be deployed and used in a unified manner. Integration of defense and civilian technologies and peacetime are combined, and the air intelligence systems of various arms and services are integrated and closely coordinated to ensure the completion of tasks such as air early warning reconnaissance, safety guidance and flight control.

5. Anti-interference and anti-attack

Electronic jamming and air attack on radar are the main means to counter radar. Radar soldiers must take all measures to improve their anti-jamming and anti-attack capabilities and try their best to maintain the rigor and stability of the radar network.

6. Strengthen training and always be vigilant.

Modern radar technology is complex and highly automated. In addition to taking technical measures to improve maintainability, in order to cope with all kinds of complicated and difficult situations, it is necessary to improve the training difficulty and strengthen tactical and technical training according to actual combat requirements. As a perennial combat readiness unit, radar soldiers must be on standby at all times.

At the same time, reserve teams and logistics support are organized to improve mobile combat capability and quickly strengthen the main operational direction in wartime. In recent years, the air raids in local wars and the plane landing in Moscow's Red Square have made countries around the world pay more attention to the training and standby of radar soldiers, so as to give full play to the tactical and technical performance of radar weapons and deal with sudden attacks and various complicated situations.
