Main attractions of Guniujiang Scenic Area

Niujiang Scenic Area, located at the junction of shitai county and Qimen County, is one of the three high mountains in southern Anhui (Huangshan Mountain, Qingliangfeng Mountain and Guniujiang Mountain), 22km away from Shitai County, with the main peak at an altitude of1727.6m and a total area of 6,700 hectares.

Guniujiang is divided into five scenic spots: main peak scenic spot, lingshan scenic spot, Shuanglong Valley scenic spot, Longmen scenic spot and Kannonji scenic spot.

Main peak scenic spot

Guniujiang Dagang, the main peak of Guniujiang, is located in the jurisdiction of Yan Jia Formation, a new countryside in Dayan Township, shitai county. The elevation of the Yellow Sea is1727.6m, and the elevation difference is1694m, which is the third highest peak in southern Anhui. At present, it has not been developed and opened.

It is known as the "Green Nature Museum" and the "undeveloped Huangshan Mountain". Above the autonomous peak, facing the southeast, the specific scenic spots are as follows: the giant reclining Buddha stands on the mountain, facing the southwest and leaning against the peak; Then there is a group of scenic spots that constitute the Guniujiang landscape: Plough Chong, Plow Arrow, Plow Tail, Cow Head, and the main peak of Guniujiang, the backbone of cattle at the foot of tourists.

Mt. Lingshan Scenic Resort

In fact, it has not been developed and opened. It consists of West Library, Chinese Library, East Library, Alpine Pastoral Scenery, Ginkgo Forest, Guan Xiao Temple, Qijingquan and other scenic spots. The so-called "library" actually refers to the "depression" or "valley" in the language habits of local villagers. The use of the word "ku" mainly shows the mystery of these three grand canyons.

Shuanglonggu scenic spot

20 12 trial operation was opened during the national day. The road leading to Shuanglong Valley Scenic Area passes through Changjiankou, Chair Circle, Shuanghekou and other places in turn along the slate trail. Shuanglong Valley is not only beautiful in natural scenery, but also rich in human history. It was once the important place of Wu, the hero of the anti-Qing Dynasty in the late Ming Dynasty, and the rear area of the southern expedition of the Qing army, with beautiful scenery and profound cultural heritage. Shuanglong Valley Scenic Area retains the true face of Shan Ye, with no man-made traces.

Longmenxia scenic spot

It is the earliest scenic spot developed by Guniujiang. The main attractions are: Yan Jia Ancient Village, Longmen Beach, Quadruple Waterfall, Yuanyang Lake and Lover Valley.

Kannonji scenic spot

The main attractions are Fairy Lake, Huanglong Lake, Dayankeng, Xiaoyankeng, Fairy Party and so on. The main peaks are Dali Mountain, Camel Peak, Snowflake Tip and Xiaolishan Mountain, and the scenery is "heroic, dangerous, strange and secluded". The forest coverage rate is as high as 98%, and the content of negative oxygen ions in the air is as high as 25 thousand per cubic centimeter. Therefore, it is also called "natural oxygen bar". New tourism infrastructure such as bamboo and wood villas, red tea houses, Huizhou Art Museum and the plank road of browsing stations will be built in the scenic spot.

Longmentan

Longmen Beach is facing the two mountains, which is beyond our reach. It is shaped like a door. According to legend, it is the place where the Dragon King of Guniu River enters and exits, so it is called "Longmen". Longmen is 88 meters high and 20 meters wide. The canyon between the two mountains is called Longmen Gorge, with a depth of 100 meters. The flowing water at the foot is Longmen Lake, and the boulder in the valley rolls and winds for thousands of meters, also known as Rolling Stone Beach. Visitors can walk among boulders and enjoy different shapes of stones and clear springs flowing among boulders at close range. Among them, there are three huge stones across the river. Locals call them "three hidden laughing stones".
