Introduction of attractions in Beihai Park

Xiaoxitian was founded in the 33rd year of Qing Qianlong (A.D. 1768) and completed in the 35th year of Qing Qianlong (A.D. 1770). It was built by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty to pray for the birthday of his mother, Empress Xiao Sheng. The main building is Elysium, with a total area of1.200m2 and a beam span of1.3.5m.. It is the largest square pavilion palace building in China, with four windows and patterns carved by southern fans. There is a gold plaque hanging high in the hall, which says "Elysium" is the imperial pen of Qianlong.

2. Iron shadow wall

The remains of the Yuan Dynasty with brown walls are carved from neutral volcanic conglomerate, which is called iron shadow wall because of its similar color and texture to iron. The wall is 1.89 meters high and 3.56 meters long, with shallow moire carvings on both sides, which is simple and vigorous. The iron shadow wall was originally the shadow wall in front of an ancient temple outside Jiandemen (now Deshengmen).

The bronze immortal exposed dish was built by Emperor Qianlong of Qing Dynasty imitating the story of Emperor Wu of Han Dynasty. A white marble dragon column stands on the stone base, and a bronze man with a two-handed tray stands at the top of the column, 6.6 meters high. According to records, Emperor Wu of the Han Dynasty put a fairy dew tray on the Shen Ming platform of Zhang Jian Palace to pick up dew. It is said that taking medicine with it can make people live forever. Emperor Qing Qianlong set this up not for dew, but for ornament.

5. Tuancheng

Tuancheng was originally an island in Taiye Pool, and the Jin Dynasty was a part of Daning Palace. The Yuan Dynasty was called Yuan Gui, also called Yingzhou. The island is surrounded by a round wall. The city is 4.6 meters high and covers an area of about 4,500 square meters. The circumference is 276 meters. The upper hall of Tuancheng is majestic and chic, and the pine and cypress are vigorous and tall. 196 1 year, the State Council listed Tuancheng as a national key cultural relics protection unit.
