Yichun garbage classification policy

Yichun City domestic garbage is divided into the following four categories:

(1) Recyclables refer to materials suitable for recycling and resource utilization Domestic waste, including paper, plastic, glass, metal and textiles;

(2) Kitchen waste refers to the perishable domestic waste generated by residents in their daily lives at home, including discarded Unused vegetable leaves, leftovers, leftover rice, peels, eggshells, tea residues, etc.;

(3) Hazardous waste refers to domestic waste that causes direct or potential harm to human health or the natural environment. Including waste batteries, waste lamps, waste paint, waste daily chemicals, expired products, etc.;

(4) Other waste refers to waste other than recyclables, kitchen waste, and hazardous waste Domestic waste, including toilet paper, discarded sanitary napkins, disposable diapers, cigarette butts and cleaning debris, etc.

Encourage areas and places with disposal conditions to conduct more specific classifications based on the classification of domestic waste stipulated in the preceding paragraph.

The classification of domestic waste in rural areas can be appropriately adjusted according to local conditions.
