These six people all reached the rank of Xiang in their official careers after becoming officials in Dazhou. Now, in order to commemorate and commend the outstanding contributions you have made in Dazhou, *** obeys the public opinion and spends a huge amount of money to build a memorial square on the hillside of Fenghuang Mountain and erect statues and monuments for the world to admire and commemorate. Follow the Liuxiang Square! The gazes of these historical great men looked far away. Today, the vibrant and strutting new city of Dazhou has long disappeared from the bustling streets of ancient Tongzhou. It can be regarded as the last wish of the sages. The Phoenix Pavilion stands in the northeastern part of Fenghuang Mountain! On top of the rock wall, under the cover of green pines and cypresses, it looks majestic and clear! It's like a virgin staring into the distance for a long time, and also looking at the Dazhou City below that has been performing for more than 1900 years. The Phoenix Pavilion overlooks Dazhou from the railing, which can be said to be the best location. Both in terms of viewing distance and viewing angle, it is very ideal. As long as the weather is clear, the busy traffic in the city can be clearly seen. The newly renovated Phoenix Pavilion is truly a beautifully decorated building, which is admirable. The pavilion has a hexagonal shape, and interesting and exquisitely carved couplets or inscriptions are hung on the six red pavilion pillars.

It strongly demonstrates the long-standing culture and connotation of Phoenix and the land of Bashan at its feet, which makes people think a lot! Phoenix Pavilion is the veritable first symbol of Phoenix Mountain! Even looking up from the mountain in the city at the foot of the mountain, she is the most conspicuous! The wind in the Phoenix Pavilion is worth enjoying. The location is neither high nor low, but sometimes there is no cover, which is very conducive to the flow of air. Sitting in the pavilion, I suddenly feel sleepy. Perhaps it is caused by the breeze blowing on my face! Yuan Zhen Memorial Hall Yuan Zhen Memorial Hall is located halfway up Fenghuang Mountain, facing Dacheng and backed by mountains. The main building of the memorial hall is a two-story imitation Tang Dynasty style, with a 2,000-square-meter square, bluestone staircases, and relief guardrails. The entire memorial hall is simple and grand, which is refreshing. In the Yuan Zhen Memorial Hall there is a statue of Yuan Zhen and the long narrative poem "Lianchang Palace Ci" written by Yuan Zhen when he was demoted to Dazhou. The main exhibition area of ??the memorial hall---Yuan Zhen's legacy: Yuan Zhen's biography, Yuan Zhen's literary achievements, Yuan Zhen and Tongzhou, and Yuan Zhen's influence and inheritance. You can reach the "Yuanzhen Poetry Gallery" by walking along Fenghuang Mountain Huangjueshu to Cemetery Road or passing the Yuanzhen Memorial Hall. Approach the poetry gallery. You can see the calligraphy horizontal plaque of "Yuanzhen Poetry Gallery" and the couplets of Yuanzhen's poems on both sides of the round arch. The horizontal plaque is made in running script, which is thick and simple, and powerful; the couplet is made in official script, concise and open, dignified and elegant. On the white wall of the corridor against the mountain, stone tablets are neatly arranged, with vertical banners and square fans. They are well-proportioned and elegant, with bluestone and white characters, showing the simplicity and elegance of the place. Yuan Zhen (779-831, or the 14th year of the Dali calendar of Emperor Daizong of the Tang Dynasty to the fifth year of the Dali reign of Emperor Wenzong of the Tang Dynasty), also known as Wei Zhi, also nicknamed Weiming, was a Han nationality and a native of Luoyang in the Tang Dynasty (now Luoyang, Henan Province). In his early years, he and Bai Juyi jointly advocated "New Yuefu". People often call him "Yuan Bai" together with Bai Juyi. His representative works include "Chrysanthemum", "Five Poems on Thoughts on Parting" (Part 4), and "Three Poems on Sorrows". In particular, "Five Poems on Lisi Thoughts" (Part 4) is extremely famous. The poetic line in the poem, "Once upon a time, the sea was difficult to make water, except for Wushan, it was not clouds." The language is fantastic and the artistic conception is hazy, which is very popular. Yuan Zhen is worthy of being an upright politician, a talented poet, and a good official who loves the people like a son and has outstanding political achievements. He uses his talents to benefit the people and is deeply supported by the people. Yuan Zhen had governed Dazhou (called Tongzhou in the Tang Dynasty) for many years. He was "familiar with the people's diseases" and had heard of the mistakes of his predecessor Li Shi in politics. In only seven months after taking over the post of governor, he led the people of Tongzhou through analysis and thinking. The construction of water conservancy, rectification of official affairs, formulation and introduction of preferential policies, "simple application of discipline, when farmers persuade people to do things, rewards and punishments must be given, there is no bullying in the market, and officials do not intrude", which greatly changed the scattered and backward appearance of Tongzhou. As an outstanding politician, writer, and poet in Chinese history, Yuan Zhen's historical status has long been finalized. Yuan Zhen has become a cultural symbol, and many customs and activities involving Yuan Zhen have become cultural phenomena with unique Dazhou characteristics. In Fenghuang Mountain, in addition to the Yuanzhen Memorial Hall, there is also the Yuanzhen Cultural Square, as well as the "Yuanjiu Climbing Festival" related to Yuanzhen. The Red Army Pavilion stands on the top of Fenghuang Mountain. It is a four-story pavilion-style square pavilion with a total height of 33 meters. There is a 2-meter-high luminous red five-star tree on the top. The pavilion plaque was inscribed by General Zhang Aiping. Looking at the Red Army Pavilion from a distance, the momentum reaches the clouds; climbing the pavilion and leaning on the railing, you can see the mountains embracing the city. The people of Dazhou built it to commemorate the Fourth Red Army's capture of Dacheng in 1933. The Red Army Pavilion was re-expanded in 2006. Nowadays, the Red Army Pavilion is even more majestic. It radiates to all directions of the city under the illumination of colored lights at night. It is one of the most eye-catching landmark buildings in the city. It is a place for citizens to remember the revolutionary martyrs and promote the spirit of patriotism during mountain tours and entertainment. , it is a monument to heroes in people's minds, and it is also a historical witness to the heroic battle of the Red Army in Dazhou. Each floor of the Red Army Pavilion is decorated with pictures and objects representing Dazhou’s history, economy, culture, folk customs and customs. The first floor is the "Introduction to the Red Army Pavilion". It was first built in 1982 and rebuilt in 2006. There are relevant commemorative pictures posted on the surrounding walls, such as the display of China's first red street, China's first red couplet, and Stone Bridge Lenin Memorial Arch. , Red Army slogans, used large water tanks, the soul of Bashan, the statue of the 33rd Xuanhan Red Army Memorial Hall, the flag of the Fourth Red Army (3.6 meters long and 1.8 meters wide), and the "Red Army Pavilion" with historical origins in the Sichuan-Shaanxi Soviet Area.

The second level is the "Genealogy of Red Army Generals", which records more than 300 people who fought in Dazhou and later became generals of the Republic of China. It also introduces the development of the Fourth Red Army that fought here for two years, including Marshal Xu Xiangqian, President Xi Jinping, Chairman Mao Zedong, Xu Shiyou, etc.; on the other side are the introductions of Dazhou local generals, such as the former Minister of Defense Zhang Aiping and dozens of other people, as well as the introductions of Dazhou heroes who sacrificed for the cause of liberation. At that time, 120,000 people in Dazhou joined the army and sacrificed 60,000 people, making great contributions to the liberation of the motherland. The third layer is "Calligraphy and Paintings by Red Army Celebrities", with inscriptions by ***, ***, Xu Xiangqian, Zhang Aiping, etc.; for example, "Loyal" written by *** for Wang Weizhou, then commander of the 33rd Red Army, and written by *** "Socialism is good" and so on. The fourth floor is the "New and Old Dazhou Photo Exhibition", which shows the historical changes of Dazhou City through the comparison of old and new pictures. For example, the old Tak City in the 1950s is now a colorful and vibrant Sun Tak City. The mountains of Phoenix Mountain are vast, and even though the mist once hung low, the red stars shone brightly. The army and the people are united, even if the white terror is shrouded, they will fight for the light with all their blood! Revolutionary integrity is so noble, and blood is shed just to change the future. May the martyrs who died heroically live forever! May the hard-won peace and prosperity last long! Phoenix Tower Phoenix Tower is located on the top of Phoenix Mountain and was completed on February 2, 2009. It covers an area of ??9751 square meters and consists of Phoenix Tower, Cultural Square, antique hexagonal pavilion and art corridor. The Phoenix Tower has 6 floors and is 39 meters high. It has the theme of ascending the heights of the Yuan Dynasty, which is taken from the palace lanterns of the Tang Dynasty, implying a peaceful and prosperous age and a prosperous national destiny. The whole building has a unique shape and style, with bright Chinese red as the main color, organically combining sculpture art and architectural art. Looking up at the Phoenix Tower, the majestic aura is shocking. The stone railings on the upper and lower squares have different shapes. The four treasures of the study are carved on the inside of the upper railing, and the poems of famous poets of the Tang Dynasty, mainly Yuan Zhen, are carved on the lower railing. The deep relief of nine cloud patterns connecting the upper and lower squares is integrated with the auspicious clouds on the outside of the upper railing. The hexagonal pavilion and art corridor have simple shapes and exquisite carvings, which set off the majesty, grandeur and simplicity of the Phoenix Tower. The famous poet Liang Shangquan recited two poems when he climbed to the Phoenix Tower for the first time: 1. The Phoenix Mountain embraces the Phoenix Tower, and I want to travel to the top of the Phoenix; I look around at the beautiful peaks, and even more so when I visit the city surrounded by green water. The general once fought on the commanding heights, and Yuan Jiu was far away in his arms to see off the boat; he continued to travel and moved his feathers diligently, expressing his feelings for thousands of years. 2. It looks like a palace lantern hanging in mid-air, its light competing with the stars and the moon reflecting the red sky; it should be passed down from the Tang Dynasty as a spiritual fire, which often makes people today think of ancient customs. Looking for scenic spots in Sima's poems, I send them to the king's pavilion to find traces of travel; there is an annual climbing festival, waiting to see all the people ascend to the ninth level. Phoenix Tower Fu (Author: Wang Xingfan): When Ji Chou was in his middle age, the Phoenix Tower was completed. This poem is written to express its prosperity. The towering Phoenix Tower is located in Dazhou City. Today's Dazhou City was formerly Tongchuan County. It borders Guang'an in the south, Chongqing in the east, the ancient Sanqin Blessed Land in the north, and the neighboring cities of Banan in the west. The mountains are the bones, and the rivers are the sinews. The hometown of the Ba people, descendants of the Ji tribe. There are natural treasures and outstanding people. The military commander's character and strength are proven by the Han Dynasty, and the scholar's talent is reflected in the "Qian Shu". Talents came one after another, six prime ministers left their mark in history; heroes emerged in large numbers, and 80,000 Red Army soldiers sacrificed their lives for the revolution. Bashan, Qushui, and Baili Gorge are the most beautiful places in Sichuan; ramie, yellow flowers, and natural gas are among the richest places in Kyushu. Thousands of drums beat together to give birth to reform and opening up; millions of people strive to be the first to build modern civilization. Sigh! The city of Dazhou is beautiful, and the Phoenix Tower adds to its beauty; the city of Dazhou is wonderful, and the Phoenix Tower adds to its beauty!

The magnificent Phoenix Tower was built on Phoenix Mountain. It is said that at the beginning of Pangu, the universe was ancient, and at the top of Kunlun, there was a colorful stone. When a bird emerges from a rock, it is called a phoenix. The male is a phoenix and the female is a phoenix. The phoenix comes from the east, patrols the mountains and rivers, enjoys this holy place, and lives on my sacred hill. But Guanfengling is majestic, hundreds of miles long, on the bank of Zhouhe River, under the sunshine of Bashan Mountain. The spring breeze turns into rain, the autumn dew condenses into frost, the pines are green and the cypresses are green, and the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant. Huizhen Lake and Fengxian Pond are rippling; the promenade and Yuanzhen Pavilion are solemn and peaceful. In the Red Army Pavilion, there are golden weapons and iron horses, and in the Xisheng Temple, the Buddha's voice is soft. Sigh! A phoenix lives on Phoenix Mountain, and the mountain is named after the bird; a Phoenix Tower is built on Phoenix Mountain, and the tower adds glory to the mountain.

Tourists come in droves and enjoy themselves. Literary men and poets came to the building in admiration. It is square in shape, dressed in red, and has skilled craftsmanship. It is a hundred feet tall and ten feet in circumference. It is full of anger and bullfighting. Leaning on the railing and looking into the distance, you can see the graceful beauty of the three mountains supporting the ground; leaning on the sill and looking down, you can see a river of spring water flowing from the sky. Eight scenic spots embellish the city's elegance; a thousand-year-old ancient pagoda melts the feelings and hatreds of centuries. The sun rises thousands of miles into the sky, the cultivators in the garden pick up their hoes early in the morning; the rain comes with thousands of layers of pearls and jade, and the fisherman by the pond goes fishing at night. In the early morning, a gentle breeze rises from the mountains, and beautiful shadows can be seen from time to time in the forest; at night, the lights in the city are brightly lit, and orchid boats are everywhere along the river.

In the farewell pavilion, I remember Yuanjun, and pay close attention to express my love; in front of the moon platform, I offer sacrifices to the bright moon in the distance, purifying my mind and relieving my worries. Sigh! The mansion of gods in heaven and the Phoenix Tower on earth. What a wonderful place, waiting for you to visit! Xisheng Temple Xisheng Temple is located at the western foot of Phoenix Mountain. The temple is built on the mountain and is majestic. It has a construction area of ??more than 3,500 square meters and covers an area of ??more than 100 acres. Xisheng Temple was built in the 35th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1607) and expanded in the 6th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1801). Every sunny day, a ray of morning glow slowly rises from the Leiyinpu Mountain Pass, like a ball of fire slowly rising, dazzling; at noon, the color is as red as red, and the rays of light shine on the city, just like the towers of the sea city; at dusk, The sun sets in the west and the sky is filled with red clouds. The temple is surrounded by towering ancient trees, shady trees along the road, and lush gardens. The Buddha statues in the temple are solemn and Sanskrit chants are endless. Especially in the Ming Dynasty, under the abbots of the two eminent monks Shangchang and Xiabi, Shangchang and Xiabi in the Qing Dynasty, Buddhism was promoted and flourished. There were more than hundreds of monks, incense festivals, worshipers from far and near, and sightseeing people gathered. In this temple, thousands of kilograms of rice for cooking in the dining hall are in short supply. Some high-ranking officials and businessmen also come to the temple to worship Buddha and visit. They are all intoxicated by the beautiful scenery of rivers and mountains here and the wonderful scenery when they return home. In the Yihai year of Jiaqing, when the peonies were in full bloom, Yu Taishou of Tongzhou, after paying homage to the garden, impromptuly recited a poem: "The stone path is sloping along the west sage, and the spring breeze is looking for the old monk's house. The fame and fame are not worthy of visiting the mountain, and the peonies are blooming everywhere." Da Since ancient times, the city has had the metaphor of "an iron phoenix, a born dragon city". Phoenix Mountain in the north of the city is a phoenix with its wings spread high. Xisheng Temple is the right armpit under the wings of the phoenix; the left armpit is Beiyan Temple. The Zhou River adjacent to it is a rolling dragon, so Dacheng is the capital of "dragon and phoenix in auspiciousness". In the early Qing Dynasty, Li Tiandi, an "immigrant" during the "Huguang Reclamation of Sichuan", settled in Beiwai Town. Because he had ancestral medical skills, he opened a small medicine shop in the town. He often carried medicine to Heshi and Luojiang to set up stalls to treat illnesses and save people. One winter, when it was snowy and windy, he was returning home from setting up a stall in the river market. Passing by the Gexi Bridge, he saw a little beggar under the bridge who was dying of cold and hunger. He carried him home, treated him carefully and adopted him as his adopted brother. , named "Conscience". From then on, the two lived together, and their days became more and more prosperous. Soon, neighbors came to propose marriage, and heaven and earth were kind and allowed the younger brother to get married first. My sister-in-law was born in a poor family and is stingy-minded, but she is somewhat pretty and is deeply loved by her conscience. In the first year after marriage, the family was relatively harmonious. Two years later, as the family became richer and richer, the woman's treacherous heart became increasingly exposed. She often blew "pillow wind" into her husband's ears: "We get up early every day to work in the dark, but my brother... When we go to teahouses or taverns outside, the money we earn is locked in a box; if we don’t work for a while, we still have to be angry with him..." The first time I said this, my conscience ignored me. Later, the woman became "soft soup" day by day. He also had evil intentions, so the treacherous and poisonous woman resorted to a vicious plan: One evening, Tiandi was setting up a stall to go home. As soon as he stepped in the door, a few handfuls of lime were suddenly sprinkled from the house and hit his eyes. He suddenly became blind and fell to the ground. The conscientious couple tied him up, tied him to a grinding stone, and pushed him into the Zhou River in the dark. Tiandi originally grew up by the river and had good water properties. After he fell into the river, he struggled hard and finally shook off the grinding stone and floated along the river. At the second watch, he had floated to the entrance of the "Dragon Claw Cave" under the Dragon Claw Tower. Being stuck by the baffle stone at the entrance of the cave, he used the stone to cut the rope. This Dragon Claw Cave was originally a "fairy cave", in which lived the Oolong Spirit, who often chatted with the Carp Spirit under the iron bridge at night about the world's wonders, either to avoid disasters or to punish evil and promote good. It was nearly three o'clock in the morning, Wulongjing said: "A strange thing happened in Beiwai Town today: a conscientious couple repaid kindness with hatred. In order to get all the family property, they blinded their brother's eyes with lime, and then fell into the river. You say it's disgusting. Isn't it evil?" After hearing this, the carp spirit said: "It doesn't matter if you are blind, as long as you go to the Guanyin Hall of Beiyan Temple and get the 'purifying bottle of water' and wipe your eyes, you will see again." There is an anecdote: The master of the Zhang Family Courtyard, the third-generation "daughter daughter" grew up to be eighteen years old, and was born with beautiful face. Unfortunately, she was haunted by a tortoise spirit, which made the young lady forget about food and tea, and she was as thin as firewood. Her life was hanging by a thread. "What's the problem? Just hold a short knife and hide at the entrance of the turtle's hole. When the chicken calls back to the hole, you can cut off its neck with the knife and then fry the turtle meat into medicine for the lady to eat." I hope she recovers as well as ever..." Er Jing's words were unintentional, but those who listened at the entrance of the cave felt as if they had found a treasure. After the fifth watch, Tiandi climbed ashore and went to the Guanyin Hall of Beiyan Temple. He took a "purifying bottle of water", opened his eyes, pretended to be a "famous doctor", and rushed to the Zhang Family Courtyard. Then he followed the advice of "Er Jing" and did the same thing. In less than ten days, the young lady's illness was cured. In order to thank him for his great kindness and virtue, and seeing that he was of good character and honest, the Zhang family recruited him as their son-in-law.

Let’s talk about the conscientious couple. After killing my brother, they had no one to control them. They just had fun, ate and drank all day long. In less than half a year, all their property was spent and sold, so they had to beg for food. One day, the couple came to the Zhang family compound to beg for food. Unexpectedly, the person who came out to send them away was their brother who had been "killed" by them. The couple was so frightened that they knelt down and begged for mercy. Tiandi ignored the past resentment and called the two people into the house to have a good meal, put them in new clothes, rewarded them with ten taels of silver, and told them to be good people and do some small business to make a living. When leaving, Conscience asked: "Brother, how did you escape death? How did you become rich?" So Tiandi told his brother the cause and effect. After hearing this, the conscientious couple discussed "imitating" their brother: they prepared ropes, wooden boards, and lime, blinded each other, tied them to the wooden boards, and jumped into the Zhou River. That night, they also floated to the entrance of Longzhao Cave and were blocked by a board. Stone stuck. After the third watch, the Oolong Spirit and the Carp Spirit were talking in the "Fairy Cave" again, discussing the misfortunes and blessings of the world. Wulong Jing said: "Another strange thing happened in Beiwai Town today..." Carp Jing said: "Don't talk about it yet, last time our words were heard by heaven and earth, and now he is enjoying the glory and wealth!" "Yes, don't say goodbye tonight! You're stupid, let's go to the entrance of the cave to see if there is anyone who listens to the wall!" When Er Jing went to the entrance of the cave, he saw the two people stuck there, so he threw them into the Zhou River to feed the fish. Later, the loving couple of the Zhang family chose a treasure house on the right side of Fenghuang Mountain, built the "Xisheng Temple", and sculpted a Bodhisattva to save all sentient beings in the world. The descendants of heaven and earth are full of descendants, all of whom "enter school with top sons", and have a "scholarly family" from generation to generation. Baren Cultural Plaza Baren Cultural Plaza is located in the south of Fenghuang Mountain Scenic Area. The square highlights the themes of leisure, humanities, nature, cultural residence and other areas for citizens to visit, sightsee, exercise and relax. The project started construction in May 2012 and opened to tourists in February 2013. The Baren Cultural Square was formerly a shale brick factory built in the 1960s. Workers dug the mountain, took soil, and burned bricks, and the hillside was chipped away foot by foot... Over the years, a large piece of Phoenix Mountain was chipped away, forming what people now call a "cliff." In 2004, the shale brick factory ceased production completely, and the neatly arranged brick kilns were completely demolished and replaced by vegetable plots. The factory destroyed the original mountains and vegetation. After the original shale brick factory ceased production, a cliff was left in the quarrying area of ??the original shale brick factory on the west side of Phoenix Mountain. What you see is red soil and steep cliffs, which damages the overall image of the city and is very inconsistent with the natural landscape of Phoenix Mountain. harmonious. When the Dazhou City and Tongchuan District party committees were building the Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area, they decided to transform the original shale brick factory into the Ba People Cultural Plaza after scientific and rigorous demonstrations, making this area a new highlight of the Phoenix Mountain Scenic Area. The square is divided into six major themes: leisure theme, humanistic theme, commercial theme, natural theme, cultural and leisure theme, and residential theme, and are strictly divided. A new scenic road will be built at the starting point of the square leading directly to the gate of the Ba people cultural square. There will be a scenic square, green space belt and parking lot at the gate. Greening is carried out along the central axis inside the gate, and dragon totem poles are built. There is an 8-story watchtower in the middle. There are cultural and leisure squares and green landscape belts on the side of the central axis of the dragon totem pole. The middle row is a three-story tower full of "Han style". Pavilions, platforms, corridors and pavilions are added in the cultural and leisure viewing area for Citizens can visit, sightsee, exercise and relax. The upper level of the central axis behind the watchtower is a large sightseeing square, with tree arrays and landscape garden buildings arranged along both sides of the square. Focus on hidden danger management at the cliff, and a large-scale relief sculpture with a cultural theme of the Ba people will be built as the end of the landscape sequence on the central axis of the square. Each landscape has a viewing platform and resting area for tourists. The Ba people cultural square takes "Han style" as its theme, and its planning and design combines the local topography and Ba people's cultural characteristics, fully reflecting Dazhou's urban taste and cultural taste. The square combines the surrounding landscape of Phoenix Mountain to closely integrate culture, scenic spots and the city, highlight the cultural characteristics of the Ba people, and build a harmonious unity between man and nature. Scenic Area Transportation At present, the tourist trails and vehicle roads from Dacheng to Fenghuang Mountain are very developed. Among them, the two main roads going up the mountain are the Red Army Road from the shale brick and tile factory to Wangjiashan, and the road from Huangjueshu to Wangjiashan. The two main roadways are connected by the mountain ring road and the Mengziliang Tunnel. Cars going up the mountain from either point can go around halfway up the mountain. In addition to the vehicle road, the pedestrian entrances to Fenghuang Mountain include the archway, the Fourteenth Elementary School, Fenlingguan, Wujiagou and the sidewalk near the Lianhu Campus of the College of Arts and Sciences. There is a Qingyun Trail at the intersection of Hongjun Road and Huanshan Road along the ridge. You can go straight to the Phoenix Tower.
