What is a fire mobile detachment?

The mobile detachment consists of seven professional rescue brigades, including geological disaster rescue, water rescue, mountain rescue, nuclear and biochemical rescue, heavy construction machinery rescue, combat support and emergency communication support.

Among them, Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Dongguan detachments and the special service brigade of the Corps each built four rescue brigades for heavy geological disasters. Combined with the provincial flood fighting and rescue mobile team, 22 water rescue brigades were set up in all detachment units in the province. Set up two mountain (high altitude) rescue brigades, Shaoguan detachment and Zhaoqing detachment. The special service brigade of the Corps and the Shenzhen detachment have built two nuclear, biological and chemical rescue brigades. There are two heavy construction machinery rescue brigades in Guangzhou and Shenzhen detachments. Seven combat support brigades were established in Guangzhou, Maoming, Shantou, Huizhou, Shaoguan, Meizhou and Jiangmen. Two emergency communication support brigades, Guangzhou detachment and corps special service brigade, will be built. Relying on the corps organ, the mobile detachment command organ is built, which consists of eight functional groups, including operational command, political mobilization, communication support, dispatching and information contact, combat support, medical support, propaganda support and support experts.
