Where is Xinhua Gate?

Xinhua Gate is located on the north side of West Chang'an Street in Xicheng District, Beijing, between Fuyou Street and Nanchang Street. It is one of the landmark buildings in Zhongnanhai.

Xinhua Gate is a gate with a strong classical style. It adopts the traditional Chinese architectural form, with red walls and gold tiles, and is magnificent. A large national emblem hangs on the eaves on the second floor. Facing the main entrance is a large screen wall with blue bricks reaching the top. On the screen wall are five gold characters on a red background with the words "Serve the People" covered with gold foil. Xinhua Gate is flanked by stone lions and eight-character walls. Slogans are engraved on the walls, and a national flag pole is erected in front of Xinhua Gate.

The Xinhuamen building adopts a classical style as a whole, using glazed tile roofs, carved beams and painted buildings. There are seven bays on the second floor of Xinhua Gate. Each bay has four sash fans and vermilion railings, making the building cheerful and elegant, belonging to the royal architectural style. The overall view of Xinhuamen is solemn, solemn, gorgeous and dignified.
