Where did the strange station name of Guangzhou Metro come from?

Each stop was written by a different calligrapher. From Tianhe Bus Terminal to Panyu Square, there are 16 stations. They are Tianhe Bus Station, Wushan Station, Huashi Station, Gangding Station, Shipaiqiao Station, Tiyu West Road Station, Zhujiang New Town Station, Chigangta Station, Kecun Station, datang station Station, Lijiao Station, Xiajiao Station, Dashi Station, Hanxi Changlong Station, Shiqiao Station and Panyu Square Station.

According to Guangzhou Urban Rail Transit Phase III Construction Plan (20 17-2023), Guangzhou Metro will build the east extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 3, the east extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 5, the second phase of Guangzhou Metro Line 7, the north extension of Guangzhou Metro Line 8, Guangzhou Metro 10 and Guangzhou Metro10. By 2023, the cumulative operating mileage of Guangzhou Metro will exceed 800 kilometers.
