What is the Ministry of Public Security’s 100-day operation?

The meeting emphasized the need to crack down hard on prominent illegal crimes, vigorously rectify social security issues, tackle and resolve various security risks, resolutely maintain social stability, ensure people's peace, and welcome the successful convening of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China with practical actions

As of the end of July 2022, the government has cracked more than 270,000 criminal cases, arrested 466,000 suspects of various crimes, confiscated 1.54 tons of drugs and 74.1 tons of precursor chemicals, and investigated and resolved 958,000 conflicts and disputes. Since then, the 100-day operation has achieved significant results in stages and effectively maintained the overall stability of social security.

In August 2022, the Legal Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Public Security issued a notice to deploy public security and legal affairs departments at all levels to closely focus on the "100-day operation" of summer public security crackdowns and rectification, and make every effort to ensure legal service guarantees, and to strengthen the filing of cases. Recent instructions of the Ministry of Public Security’s 100-day operation:

First, continue to deepen special crackdowns and rectification operations. Strictly crack down on prominent illegal crimes such as gangs and evil, telecommunications and network fraud, cross-border gambling, etc. in accordance with the law, tighten control measures for key items such as guns and ammunition, hazardous explosives, and controlled knives, deepen road traffic safety improvements, reduce the total number of traffic accident deaths, and control Major road traffic accidents occurred, and the results of the "100-Day Action" were continuously consolidated.

The second is to continue to strengthen the rectification of disorderly spots and supervision of cases. For the public security chaos spots listed for rectification by public security organs at all levels, those that have been delisted must continue to consolidate the effectiveness of the rectification and prevent a rebound; for individual key areas that have not yet been delisted, clearly target units and urge in-depth rectification to be in place; for those that have not yet been fully resolved, case, implement line supervision responsibilities, and strive to solve the case as soon as possible.

1. Personnel and Grouping

(1) Road Traffic Order Management
