Article 2 The organs of self-government of autonomous counties shall use both Mongolian and Chinese when performing their duties. Both languages are equally authentic. (5) Organize the research and popularization of Mongolian language and conduct academic exchanges.

(6) To be responsible for the training and assessment of Mongolian language professionals and amateurs.

(7) Strengthen the standardization of Mongolian language and vigorously promote Mongolian standard language. Article 5 The special funds for Mongolian language and minority education shall be earmarked to ensure that they can be directly used for Mongolian language and ethnic education. Article 6 The press and publication, radio and television, education, culture, nationality and other departments of the organs of self-government of autonomous counties and the people's governments of townships and towns where Mongolians live in compact communities should have a leader in charge of Mongolian language work. Article 7 The organs of self-government of autonomous counties shall organize Mongolian national staff to learn Mongolian language in a planned and step-by-step manner, so as to improve their ability to use Mongolian language to carry out their work. Article 8 The organs of self-government of autonomous counties shall attach importance to the teaching of Mongolian language and characters in primary education, secondary education, vocational education and adult education.

Article 17 The official seals, plaques, vehicle signs, awards, certificates and slogans of organs of self-government of autonomous counties, social organizations, enterprises and institutions shall be written in both Mongolian and Chinese. Eighteenth autonomous counties should strengthen the construction of Mongolian language work team. Strengthen the management of Mongolian language workers, and carry out business assessment and professional title evaluation in a planned way. Organize an assessment of Mongolian language knowledge every two years, and issue certificates and rewards to those who pass the examination. Article 19 The organs of self-government of autonomous counties shall commend and reward the units and individuals that have exemplary implementation of these Regulations. The measures for the implementation of recognition and reward shall be formulated by the Autonomous County People's government. Article 2 These Regulations shall come into force as of the date of promulgation. The Autonomous County People's Government shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Regulations.
