May 20th to June 20th is the National Preschool Education Publicity Month.

According to the requirements of the Notice on Launching the National Preschool Education Publicity Month in 2022, the Ministry of Education will launch a month-long preschool education publicity month with the theme of "Young people gather, we are in action" from May 20, 2022.

This year's publicity month will focus on the national policies on children's convergence, local ideas and measures to promote children's convergence, and the practical exploration of kindergartens and primary schools, aiming at guiding kindergartens, primary schools and families to establish a scientific concept of convergence education, helping children to prepare for school and adapt to school education, and consciously resisting behaviors that violate the laws of children's physical and mental development.

The Ministry of Education emphasizes that all localities should attach great importance to the pre-school education publicity month as an important measure to deepen the reform of basic education and promote the poverty of the young and the old, and arrange various activities.

All localities should summarize and publicize the real case experience of kindergartens and primary schools, and kindergartens should naturally integrate school preparation education into children's daily life and games, and gradually make good preparations in all aspects of body and mind; Primary schools should strengthen the concept of "preparing schools for children", pay attention to the development status and individual differences of new school children, adjust the teaching methods of first-grade courses, and adopt gamification and life-oriented methods to implement entrance adaptation education.
