The life of the character

Professor Shao Jingming 19 1 1 was born in Xihua County, Henan Province. He studies in a private school, reading classics. After that, he was forced to make a living and became an apprentice in Renhetang, Dongxia Town, Xihua County. He loves learning. Although he has to do housework, concoct traditional Chinese medicine, and make ointment, pills and powder, in his spare time, he studies and recites the first book of traditional Chinese medicine, such as Fu on Medicinal Properties, Notes on Tang Touge and Treatise on Febrile Diseases. Seeing that he was diligent and studious, the shopkeeper recommended him to Guo, a local famous doctor in the late Qing Dynasty, when he was 16 years old. During his study with Lao Guo, he lost his appetite, studied hard, practiced hard, saw doctors during the day and studied sages at night. He has mastered all the four books and five classics and the works of doctors in previous dynasties. After the expiration of his apprenticeship, Lao Guo was glad that his disciple was humble, knowledgeable, persevering and firm, so he recommended him to continue to worship Mr. Cheng Danan. At this point, Professor Shao Jingming officially embarked on the road of studying acupuncture and moxibustion in traditional Chinese medicine.
