EverMOUSE's voice functions are all assembled on special buttons on both sides. On the left is the voice/translation button, and a microphone is drawn. On the right is the impression function key. Users of Evermouse should easily see that this is a cut and hide button.

Download the Impression Smart Mouse version of the Impression Notes client, and open the corresponding options in Tools-Options-Mouse to use the functions of EverMOUSE. (At present, only Windows 7/8/ 10 system is supported, and later version of macOS is supported. )

In addition to the EverMOUSE icon in the lower right corner of the desktop, there will be an additional Evermouse icon. Click it to enter setting options.

The voice/translation key on the left is easy to understand, that is, press and hold where you can enter text for voice input, and the input box will be displayed in the lower right corner (the input box only follows the cursor occasionally, and the voice interface needs to be optimized).

The voice technology provider here is Iflytek, so you don't need to introduce it too much, so you don't need to worry about accuracy. The experience is the same as the voice input on the mobile phone (supporting Chinese, English, Cantonese, Henan dialect and Sichuan dialect). With the built-in microphone of the mouse, there is no need to speak to the mouse specially.

Double-click the voice/translation key to switch to the translation mode, in which Chinese is spoken and English is typed. The input rhythm can't be the same as Chinese input, and continuous input of clauses can only translate a whole paragraph at a time, which should be because translation takes time. As for the accuracy of translation, it is the same as mobile phones. Daily chat is no problem. If it becomes a written text, it may need to be revised. Another function is Quickbar. After selecting the text, click the voice/translation key on the left to bring up shortcut toolbars, such as translation, Baidu search, Taobao search, etc. In fact, browser plug-ins with similar functions can also be implemented, but the advantage of EverMOUSE is that it can be used outside the browser without selecting software. Moreover, this Quickbar is dedicated to Evernote, with exclusive functions such as saving to Evernote, creating lists/desktop notes, etc.

The impression function key on the right has many functions, the most basic of which is cutting and hiding. Anyone who has used Evernote knows that it is a very powerful extraction tool, which can optimize the typesetting of all kinds of content seen on the website in his own notes, and the original text will not disappear even if it is deleted (necessary for the contemporary Internet, everyone understands).

Previously, you could quickly collect content through browser plug-ins. Now, just press the impression function key directly.

Another function of this button is voice control. In addition to recognizing the instructions for creating new notes and creating notes, this key can also open other applications on the computer, such as opening Photoshop and opening Word.

In fact, it already has a function similar to that of a mobile phone voice assistant, supporting weather viewing, watching videos, listening to songs and so on. The way to achieve this is to search through the browser. The advantage is that you can directly access the website and results without additional operation. The disadvantage may be that it is limited by web pages, and some functions need to be realized by App or software. Of course, this is the strange appearance of the Internet, not the product itself.

To sum up, there is really no problem with the functionality of EverMOUSE. Some voice functions make up for the lack of computer operation, as long as you can accept talking to the mouse (in fact, it is no problem to use it at home). Compared with the voice assistant that comes with the computer system, it has more detailed functions. For those who are already deep users of EverMOUSE, the advantages are more obvious.

But it must be pointed out that the feel of EverMOUSE itself is still suitable for light office work, and it is still not good when playing games. The design of special function keys on the left and right sides and the left and right keys can avoid misoperation more reasonably.
