1May 9, 942, 14-year-old, holding a slogan of "Don't forget the national humiliation of May 7th", condemned Zuo Quan, deputy chief of staff of the Eighth Route Army, as a traitor and died heroically in the battle with the Japanese army. He was the supreme general of our party who died in the anti-Japanese battlefield.

Zuo Quan died, and the whole army mourned. Commander-in-chief Zhu, poem mourning loyal soul:

Zuo Quan (1905- 1942), a student in the first phase of Whampoa Military Academy, took part in the battles to quell the riots of the Guangzhou business group and crusade against the Crusaders, and was known as the "new star of Whampoa". He used to be commander of the 12th Red Army, chief of staff of the 1st Red Army, acting head of the 1st Red Army and deputy chief of staff of the 8th Route Army. Participated in and directed many important battles, such as anti-encirclement, crossing Chishui River four times, flying Luding Bridge, winning Zhiluo Town, Hundred Regiments War, defending Huangyadong Campaign and so on. He is one of the few strategists and excellent commanders with both theoretical accomplishment and practical experience in the Party.
