What do you know about the Winter Olympics?

1. The Winter Olympics is the world's largest winter comprehensive sports event, held every four years. In 1986, the International Olympic Committee Plenary Session decided to separate the Winter Olympics and Summer Olympics from 1994. Held every two years, the 1992 Winter Olympics were the last to be held in the same year as the Summer Olympics.

2. At 8 pm on February 9, 2018, the opening ceremony of the 23rd Winter Olympics kicked off at Pyeongchang Olympic Plaza, and the 17-day Winter Olympics officially started. Athletes from South Korea and North Korea will enter the venue together holding the peninsula flag.
