How to make a three-dimensional movie poster

Here’s how to make a poster:

1. Get out your colored pencils! Making posters by hand can be a lot of fun, and there are no hard and fast rules to follow. Follow along and you'll be sure to create an eye-catching poster.

2. Find a piece of white paper or poster board. There is no size limit when making posters by hand, you can choose any size you like.

3. Draw two lines gently. Draw a horizontal line slightly below the top. Your title will be placed on this line. Also draw a line like this slightly above the bottom. This is where you can add some information you want people to know next: a phone number, the date of the event, or a slogan like "Buy our cookies."

4. Create a title. Use your pencil to lightly draw text in the title area. For example, if you are making a poster for Earth Day, you can add some text like this to it. Use a pencil to lightly outline the text first, so you can adjust it later if the size is wrong. If the text is too big or too small, erase it and redraw it.

5. Create the footer part. Repeat the previous step at the bottom - trace it lightly with the pencil first, then make adjustments.

6. Fill in the middle part. No matter what theme your poster belongs to, it must be conveyed through the middle section. If it's a poster about Earth Day, make a picture of the Earth. You may want a collage or just a single image, but either way start by lightly sketching the outline with a pencil.

7. Start filling in! Now, an overall poster outline is displayed in front of you. Make sure that the picture matches your idea, and then carefully draw the text. You can use markers, colored pencils or crayons. Remember, light text on a light background is difficult to read. If you want to make a collage, cut out the pictures you like and paste them on the poster.
