My thoughts after watching the military parade, urgent! ! !

The military parade and procession marking the 60th anniversary of the National Day finally ended this morning.

It was last Monday, and the weather in Beijing was as good as today, so each echelon in the air flew again according to formal procedures. Since that day, the weather in Beijing has gotten worse and worse, and it has been gray all day long. There is no wind and no clouds can be seen. It just feels like a big gray pot lid is buckling on your head. As of last night, the weather remained the same and showed no signs of changing. All experts involved in weather support for the National Day celebrations and military parades are also no longer confident. They said: The weather on October 1 will have basically no impact on the military parade and will not affect the takeoff of aircraft, but it will be cloudy and clear in the Tiananmen area in the afternoon. It seems that weather forecasting is the most inexact science. No one thought that God played a joke on us. There was a little drizzle in Beijing last night, but it did not affect the assembly of the military parade troops. So, this morning, the clouds and fog began to clear up in the sky. At about 6 o'clock, I looked eastward on my balcony and saw a fiery red sun rising slowly in the morning glow. The weather was coming.

The weather is getting better and better. This is the best weather in autumn in Beijing. The blue sky, some thin white clouds like silk ribbons, the gentle autumn wind, and the warm sunshine. I really didn’t expect that the weather could change for the better when no one expected it. At this time, all the colors in Tiananmen Square appear more vivid against the blue sky. Looking northwest of Tiananmen Square, the Western Mountains in the distance are clearly visible, with visibility of no less than 20 kilometers. Viewed from the sky, with Tiananmen as the center, the entire city of Beijing is clear and picturesque.

The National Day celebration has begun, and I will watch it live on TV at home from seven o'clock. The overall feeling is good. When watching the military parade, I was still very excited and emotional. As a soldier, you may serve in the army for a lifetime, or it may only be for a few years. At such a special moment, it is indeed an extremely honorable thing to perform a special mission and be reviewed by the Chairman of the Military Commission in the ranks of one's own troops. Accompanied by the majestic melodies of "Military Song of the Chinese People's Liberation Army", "Reviewing March", "School Anthem of the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University", "People's Army Loyal to the Party" and "We Soldiers", the eyes of every officer and soldier under review followed the Chairman's He moved with his body, the slogans shook the heaven and the earth, and he was so majestic that he will never forget it. Due to the overall control of the celebration time, the troops participating in the military parade were as streamlined as possible, and the chairman's car ran very fast, so the viewing experience was not satisfying. Another point of dissatisfaction is that our current military uniforms lack the individuality of services, arms and professions, and they look like an army.

I was very excited when watching the mass demonstrations and felt warm in my heart. The same is true when you look at the expressions of the guests on the podium. Everyone sang loudly with the military band, which was from the bottom of their hearts. I think this celebration has really played a role in uniting people and inspiring spirits. There are also many designs that are very creative, such as the playback of the speech sounds of the four generations of leaders. There are also many nostalgic classic scenes and old songs, which condense the history of the difficult development of Japan and China. So when I watched the mass demonstrations, I was very affected by the emotions at the scene, and I almost burst into tears a few times.

Let’s go back and talk about the disaggregation. The overall feeling is not as good as in 1999, let alone 1984. Why? I think there are several reasons:

First, the number of foot troops has decreased. Especially the infantry, which is the main branch of our army, the soul of the army, and the most impressive branch. Unfortunately, there is only one square formation. Moreover, each formation switched to using short assault rifles without bayonets. They all marched with guns in hand, and they looked very reserved. There is also the training level of the square team. There have been so many reports in the media before, but today it seems that there are still problems with the swing and position of the forward walking arms. In front of the army's dark military uniforms, the white gloves are particularly conspicuous if they are not in place. This is the biggest difference from the last military parade.

The second issue is the Type 07 military uniform. The fabrics and workmanship of spring and autumn casual clothes are too rigid, not close-fitting and not soft, and the clothes feel a bit draggy when doing goose-stepping movements. It would be nice if I switched to regular clothes made of thin fabrics.

Surprisingly, the evaluation of the female militia phalanx was unanimously high, and they thought it was better than the female soldier phalanx. There are also problems with the Type 07 camouflage uniforms. The main reason is that the color is too dim and the style is unique. It is almost impossible to see the difference between the formations. The new helmets worn by many formations also don't fit well with their head shapes, and they don't have the murderous aura of the old-fashioned helmets. The helmet is too big, and the whole head is wrapped by the helmet, which makes it difficult to use the corner of the eye to align the formation, so the horizontal formation is not very neat. No matter which angle you looked at the last military parade, the rows were in a straight line, which was absolutely stunning.

Third, the weather today is great and the sun is too abundant. The camera was shooting from west to east facing the sun. People and equipment were backlit, and the colors of the team and equipment were dark, which affected the visual effect.

The fourth issue is the quality of CCTV’s broadcasting. Due to the poor selection of camera positions and angles, and the lack of professional understanding of framing, the relationship between the overall picture and the details of the military parade was not properly handled. Also, the vehicle formation moved very quickly, and many precious moments were not seen by everyone. In today's online CCTV forum questionnaire survey, more than 90% of people thought the broadcast was bad or bad. Are audiences too picky? After all, it only happens once every 10 years, so everyone’s expectations are very high. Fortunately, there are still documentary films produced by the Bayi Film Studio. Until then, let’s take a look at the creations of professional military photographers.

The flaws do not hide the virtues. The celebration came to an end with a grand party in the evening. I admire the local and military organizations in Beijing for their strong organizational ability in organizing large-scale events. By the way, the light cube at night is a small miracle. I haven’t figured out whether the changes in the image are controlled by a computer or operated by humans. Ten years is a great celebration, and the development of science and technology can also take a huge step in ten years, so we can see such superb performances.
