Xuwen is located at the southernmost tip of mainland China and is a fascinating place. The vast red land of Xuwen is dotted with colorful and picturesque scenery. On a beautiful winter day, our group visited Pineapple Sea and Antarctic Village, and experienced the extraordinary Xuwen.

1. Sea of ??Pineapples

As a native of Xuwen, the word "Sea of ??Pineapples" should be heard most often, but I have never been there, let alone truly I have felt it, maybe it is too worldly in front of me.

This time I had an opportunity. Together with 8 of my high school classmates, I accompanied Mr. Li Wenhai, the former head teacher of Grade 2 (3) Class 74 of Xu No. 1 Middle School from Guangzhou, on a trip to the sea of ??pineapples.

Pineapple Sea is located in Qujie Town in the eastern part of Xuwen County, 27 kilometers away from the county seat.

Xuwen County is the largest pineapple production base in China, and Qujie Town is the number one pineapple production town in China. Qujie Yugonglou pineapple is listed as a national origin protected product.

Turning into the Sea of ??Pineapple from the provincial road, there is a raised cement-hardened platform next to the road called the "Colorful Pastoral Viewpoint". There are pavilions, benches and trees at the viewing point. You can enjoy the scenery here, sit in the pavilion or sit on a stool to rest, and there are pineapple fruits for you to taste.

We put away the vehicle, got out of the car, and walked to the "Colorful Pastoral Viewpoint". Standing on the viewing point, although it is winter, there is no shadow of winter, and it seems to be bathed in spring. The wind was blowing gently, and there were white clouds floating in the sky. Looking around, the boundless pineapples were rolling and green, against the blue sky and white clouds, it was very spectacular, like an ocean. This is the sea of ??pineapples. I was shocked, attracted, and fascinated by the magnificent pineapple pastoral landscape in front of me!

Wandering in such a vast sea of ??pineapples reminds me of the past of pineapples. To be honest, my love for pineapples started in the 1980s. At that time, I was teaching at Dongfeng Primary School. There was a pineapple field to the west of the school. Every afternoon when the pineapples were ripe, I and my teacher Lin Chengxue, who lived on campus, would get out of school every afternoon. Later, I went to the pineapple field to pick pineapples and eat them. I not only ate one piece every time, but I was not full and didn’t want to go home. Later, when I left Dongfeng Primary School, I naturally also left the pineapple garden that was so satisfying to me. Later, I was transferred to the county government office and once went to the countryside for research. The secretary of the Jinhe Town Party Committee knew that I like to eat pineapples, so he gave us a large glass bag. Finally, I was transferred to the cultural department. My colleagues in the eastern towns often brought me delicious pineapple fruits during the pineapple harvest season.

In my memory, the earliest pineapple varieties planted in Xuwen were mainly "Qianlihua" and "Bali". Now the varieties are constantly improved and new varieties are constantly introduced. In the fine pineapple variety display area set up in the Sea of ??Pineapples, we saw golden pineapple MD-2, sweet honey pineapple Tainong No. 16, etc. The leaf margins of this pineapple variety are non-thorny and smooth. Seeing this brought back memories of my past love affair with pineapples.

Xuwen can form a sea of ??pineapples. In addition to the climate suitable for the growth of pineapples, the most important thing is that the pineapples produced in Xuwen have large fruits, rich juice, crisp pulp and sweet taste. Their preserved fruits and other Products such as canned pineapple, pineapple drinks, pineapple juice, pineapple wine, etc. are exported to Europe, America, Japan and all over the world. Xuwen pineapples are not only favored by people, but also gain huge economic benefits. Therefore, Xuwen people are reluctant to throw away pineapples and cherish this hard-won brand. It is Xuwen people's wish to build a strong pineapple industry in many countries. Naturally, a sea of ??pineapples has emerged that is admirable.

The year before last, I went to Yunnan to attend a gathering of comrades-in-arms. On the way from Kunming to Hekou, I occasionally saw pineapples growing on the slopes of hills, but they were not large. At the mouth of the river, I tasted the pineapples brought to me by comrades-in-arms in Yunnan. The pineapples produced in Yunnan are not big, have less juice, and are not fragrant enough. They are much inferior to the pineapples in Xuwen.

To the west of the pineapple sea variety display area, and walking along the pineapple sea "2017 Xuwen Pineapple Cultural Tourism Festival" sign, is the "Pineapple Station".

Pineapple Station is designed with green and ecological pineapples as the background. It is actually a small pineapple warehouse that sells pineapple products. When you walk in, you will see the shelves filled with pineapple products in various packages. Visitors can buy their favorite and satisfying pineapple products here, which may not be available elsewhere.

To the south of the pineapple variety display area, through a winding wooden plank road, passing through the shade of mangosteens and grass pavilions, is the Banqiao Reservoir in Qujie Town. On the lakeside of Banqiao Reservoir, it was the main venue of the Xuwen Pineapple Cultural Tourism Festival in 2016 and 2017.

Walking into the main venue of Xuwen Pineapple Cultural Tourism Festival, you can see a winding water area sparkling in the sun. There is an elegant and classic villa on the north bank of the reservoir. There is a bronze statue of an ox standing on the lawn. The ox exerts its strength and its twitching muscles are lifelike and amazing. The scalper is a symbol of Xuwen people's spirit. It is with this scalper spirit that the Xuwen people can create a sea of ??pineapples that is rare in the world. There are also slogans with the theme of "Pineapple Sea", "Fragrant World" and "Land of Longevity" Cultural Tourism Festival on the north shore. Opposite the waterfront on the south bank are nine characters "Xuwen Pineapple Cultural Tourism Festival". The backdrop is a vast pineapple field, dotted with rotating wind wheels in the distance. Unfortunately, our visit was not for the Pineapple Festival, and we did not witness the huge crowds and unprecedented grandeur of the Pineapple Festival.

Longmen Village in Qujie Town, known as a professional pineapple planting village, is one of the branch venues of the 2017 Xuwen Pineapple Cultural Tourism Festival. Not far from Banqiao Reservoir in Qujie Town to the west is Longmen Village in Qujie Town. This is a village surrounded by pineapples, located in the center of the Tianyang Crater basin floor. The village has a long history and profound cultural heritage. The sea of ??pineapples, wind farms, volcanic craters and more than 200 ancient camphor trees in the village constitute the unique scenery of Longmen Village. The village is the most beautiful village in Guangdong Province and a model village for rural tourism in China.

Walking into Longmen Village, the "Jiruimen" village archway is erected in it. The area along the east side of the main road of the village is dotted with culture, such as the longevity stone, the Zhizhangwen carved stone, the Longmen village chronicle carved stone, as well as ancient stones such as stone mortars, stone mortars, and stone troughs. The most eye-catching one is the camphor tree located on the north side of the village archway. The iron pot at the bottom is 3 meters in diameter. The iron pot is placed on a round stove made of bricks. The base of the round stove is labeled with the words "Pineapple Pot丸" in yellow and black letters on a red background. According to villagers, this big pot cooks pineapple rice on site during the Pineapple Festival, which can be eaten by thousands of people. After the pineapple rice is fried, it is served in a pineapple. Once you open the lid, the aroma is overflowing, making you mouth-watering. This is the "Pineapple Banquet for Ten Thousand People" of the Pineapple Festival. Approaching the pineapple pot, I seem to still smell the lingering fragrance of pineapple rice.

2. Antarctic B&B

If the sea of ??pineapples in Qujie Town makes people forget to leave, then the Antarctic B&B in Jiaowei Township will be your ideal place to stay.

Leave Qujie Longmen Village and go straight to Antarctic Village. Have lunch at Dahuangwei on the way.

Nanji Village is 30 kilometers away from the county seat and refers generally to all villages in Jiaowei Township. In Nanji Village, we visited the "East Tea and West Reading Literary Life Museum" transformed from the Jiaowei Salt Warehouse, the slope village B&B, the Coral House, and the Coral Pavilion. Then we followed the coastal boardwalk to Dengloujiao, where we visited the Beacon Lighthouse, The ruins and memorial wall of the Duqiong combat command post, the starting point for the liberation of Hainan, the ruins of French bungalows and ancient wells, and the waterline between the Qiongzhou Strait and the Beibu Gulf. What impressed me most was the B&B there.

Speaking of B&Bs, I remembered the Xinhu B&B on the ancient path of the Yellow River that I recently participated in the "Hekou District in the Eyes of Writers" large-scale literary gathering at the mouth of the Dongying River in Shandong Province. This is the first time in my life that I have come across a B&B located among green trees and full of new fashionable tourism and leisure options.

The difference between Antarctic B&B and Xinhu B&B in Dongying Hekou is that Xinhu B&B is in the forest and far from the sea, while Antarctic B&B is located at the southernmost tip of the mainland of the motherland, close to the sea. The taste of the sea, the feelings of the sea.

Among the B&Bs open to guests in Anji Village, most of them are original coral houses and original bluestone tile houses, although some are renovated from other houses. These B&Bs have different styles and characteristics.

Fangpo Village is the village with the most B&Bs.

Passing through the Pangpo Village Archway, walking past the Cultural Building, and walking along the cement village road, you can see that there are many homestays along the road. Enter through the door with the sign of Haijiao No. 4 B&B. This is a B&B renovated from an idle bluestone tile house. Photography pictures are hung on the bluestone wall, and a coffee table is placed against the wall. In the small courtyard, there are green bamboos and longan trees. There is an iron-framed bamboo shed in the middle. Under the iron shed is a sand pool. In the middle of the sand pool, there is a boat-shaped wooden table made of ancient ship planks. There are boat-shaped wooden tables around it. bench. There are also paths paved with bright sea egg stones and coral stones in the courtyard. This small, exquisite and poetic decoration adds to the leisurely atmosphere of the B&B.

Build a pavilion between B&B No. 4 and B&B No. 5, which is higher than the ridge of the bungalow where you can enjoy the view and drink tea. It has coral stone walls, stairs up and down, and two old wooden boats lying on the front, which symbolizes Dare to break through the huge waves of the sea with a small wooden boat. The tapered pavilion is made of thick thatch. There is a rectangular tea table and stools in the middle of the pavilion. In the morning and evening, you can go up to the pavilion, hold tea in the wind, watch the sunrise and sunset, look at the clouds in the sky, count the stars in the sky, and listen to the singing of the sea. It is very refreshing and refreshing.

Entering the Fishing Port B&B has a different flavor. The fishing port B&B has a T-shaped layout with coral stone partitions. In the middle of the courtyard, it is arched with iron bars, covered with rattan, and bonsai hung below. In the south courtyard, there are strange-shaped tree roots, coral stones and shells placed on the square table against the coral wall. In the courtyard, there are net beds hanging between the trees, fish nets, bamboo fish (crab) baskets and other fishing gear, and a tea table. , with its fishing port style and fisherman lifestyle, attracts countless tourists. Northeasterners who are afraid of the cold also come here to live here for the winter.

Antarctic folk residence, Zuxin B&B. It is close to nature, with the theme of marine culture, integrating classical and modern, simple and fashionable. Here, there is no noise, no dust, only the chirping of birds, the fragrance of flowers, and the sound of waves. The air is filled with the smell of the sea and the fragrance of earth. It allows people who have lived in the city for a long time to experience the taste of nature, and it also gives people who visit this place an extra taste. Happiness and pleasure!
