What is the British Labour Party?

A political party in Britain. 1900 February, it was founded by the workers' congress (i.e. the General Federation of Trade Unions), formerly known as the Labor Representative Committee, and was composed of the workers' congress, Fabian Society, Independent Labor Party, Social Democratic Alliance and other affiliated organizations. 1906 was renamed Labor Party. After 1924, he took turns to be in power with the Conservative Party. The traditional theoretical basis of the Labour Party's program is Fabian socialism, which advocates public ownership of means of production, distribution and exchange, realizing planned control and fair distribution. The Attlee Labour government put this into practice. It was declared a welfare state in 1948. Since the 1950s, there have been ideological differences between the left and right factions within the Labour Party. Right-wing ideology once prevailed and advocated pursuing higher perfection under the existing capitalist system. After the 1970s, the left put forward that nationalization should be combined with industrial democratization and lifestyle democratization, which is a supplement to the traditional socialism of the Labour Party. The organization of the Labour Party consists of leaders, parliamentary groups, extra-parliamentary organizations and headquarters.
