The Red Guards in Tongnan are under construction. 1March, 929, Tongnan Red Guards led by Zhong * * * was born and served as the branch secretary of Zhong * * *. Lead the Red Guards to fight local tyrants, distribute property, punish bullies and attack group training in Taiping area of tea shop. The Red Guards soon grew to six or seven hundred people.

He served as a member of the organizing Committee and the head of the military movement.

1in may, 930, the provincial party Committee sent Shen yuning, a native of Tongnan, back to Tongnan to help him form the second task force of the Chinese workers and peasants red army on the upper reaches of the Yangtze river. The provincial party Committee appointed him as a teacher and Shen Yuning as a political commissar. Later, due to the change of the central military action plan, the army-building activities were suspended.

On the night of August 1930 and 10, the underground party organization posted revolutionary slogans in the county, so the bookstore was sealed up by the reactionaries and the party organization was seriously damaged. 1March, 932, local warlords scuffled and Tongnan city was empty. He seized the opportunity, led the Red Guards to cross the Fujiang River at night, opened the prison, and rescued two comrades, Qiu Demao (* * * Party member) and Chen Erhu, who were arrested for the bookstore incident.

1April, 932, trapped by the new county magistrate of Tongnan County of Kuomintang. At 6: 438 am on August 6 of the same year, he and five other Red Guards were shot by the enemy at the roadside of Douyawan.
