1, the fire fighting in the machine room is protected as an independent system. I have received hundreds of requests for consultation on the scheme of the computer room, and it is not surprising to see that everyone likes to design the fire protection subsystem of the computer room as a separate subject when designing. I disagree.
First of all, as a professional mechanical and electrical equipment storage place, there are a large number of electrical equipment and power terminals, which is obviously not suitable for using distributed water mist as a fire extinguishing substance. Carbon dioxide and heptafluoropropane are recommended fire extinguishing substances by the state, and heptafluoropropane is the most common one. Then, when designing the fire protection system of the computer room, besides treating it as a separate fire protection zone, the alarm host of the gas fire protection system should also output signals to the host of the building fire control center and treat it as a protected area. I don't know why I didn't mention this in the drawings or schemes of hundreds of small and medium-sized computer rooms.
2. When designing the gas fire protection system, the linkage between the fire alarm host and the access control of the computer room was not designed. This is also a point that I think is worth mentioning. Maybe after everyone has deployed, there will be very few units that actually use the fire protection system. There are only a handful of people who publish information after use, so most of them do not consider the linkage of many fire protection systems.
I suggest that the computer room management personnel of your own unit check whether the alarm of your fire control system is linked with the access control of the computer room, and whether the access control of the computer room is forced to open by default when the fire control host generates an alarm to trigger the gas eruption process. If there is no such linkage, let me describe a scene that happened: the engine room was short-circuited and caught fire, and the whole engine room was cut off with only a few emergency lights. After the gas fire alarm system is started, people can't escape from the engine room within 30 seconds. After spraying inert gas, no one found the cabin abnormal and people died of suffocation. Many people here will ask. Why can't the entrance guard be opened? Power failure does not automatically turn on? Go back and have a good check. Many entrance guards have batteries, and they can supply their own power when the power is off! ! If there is no forced opening device, the door will not open automatically for you.
3. The linkage between fresh air system and exhaust system was not set during the design of gas fire protection in the engine room. Simply put, let's not talk about it. In short, poor linkage setting will further increase the air circulation fire caused by the dilution concentration of new fans in gas fire fighting blowout.
Introduction of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system
I. Use and maintenance of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system
After the installation of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system is completed, it can only be put into use after it is accepted by relevant departments.
(1) The startup modes of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system include automatic control, manual control and mechanical emergency manual control. Under normal circumstances, manual control should be adopted, and it can be changed to automatic control when there is no one in the protected area. When automatic control and manual control cannot be implemented, mechanical emergency manual control should be adopted.
(2) Automatic control. Turn the control mode selection key on the alarm controller to? Automatic? Position, the fire extinguishing system is in an automatic control state. When there is a fire in the protected area, the fire detector sends out a fire signal, and the alarm controller immediately sends out an acoustic alarm signal and an optical alarm signal. The fire extinguishing controller receives two independent fire alarm signals, gives linkage instructions and closes the linkage equipment. After a delay of 30s, the fire extinguishing instruction is issued, and the electromagnetic valve corresponding to the protected area is opened to release the starting gas. The starting gas opens the corresponding selection valve and container valve through the starting pipeline to release the fire extinguishing agent, so as to put out the fire.
(3) Manual control. Turn the control mode selection key on the fire extinguishing controller to? Manual? Position, the fire extinguishing system is in manual control state. When there is a fire in the protected area, you can press the start button on the manual control box or controller to start the fire extinguishing system, and release the fire extinguishing agent according to the prescribed procedures to put out the fire. In the automatic control state, manual control can still be realized.
(4) Mechanical emergency manual control. When there is a fire in the protected area, and the fire extinguishing controller can't send out the fire extinguishing instruction, it should immediately notify all personnel to evacuate the site, turn off the linkage equipment, then dial out the safety tongs on the electromagnetic valve corresponding to the protected area, press the knob to open the electromagnetic valve, release the starting gas, and then open the corresponding selector valve and container valve to release the fire extinguishing agent and implement the fire extinguishing. If the corresponding selector valve and container valve cannot be opened due to solenoid valve maintenance, gas cylinder filling and gas replacement starting or other reasons, the following procedures should be implemented immediately:
1) Open the selector valve handle corresponding to the protected area.
2) Press the mechanical emergency start handle on the container valve, open the container valve, release the fire extinguishing agent and put out the fire.
(5) When a fire alarm occurs, but it is found that it is not necessary to start the fire extinguishing system to extinguish the fire under abnormal conditions within the delay time, you can press the emergency stop button on the manual control box or controller to stop the fire extinguishing instruction of the fire extinguishing controller.
Second, the main components of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system
The main components of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing system are: fire extinguishing agent storage container, starting gas storage container, container valve, one-way valve, connecting pipe, safety pressure relief valve, selector valve, signal feedback device, collecting pipe, solenoid valve, pressure display, pipeline and nozzle.
(1) container for storing fire extinguishing agent
The mixed gas storage container is a high-pressure welded steel cylinder or a whole steel cylinder rolled by hot rolling, which is used to store heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent. Cylinder volumes are 70, 90, 120, 150, 180 liters.
(2) Container for storing startup gas
Starting gas storage container is a high-pressure seamless steel cylinder for storing starting gas (nitrogen).
(3) Container valve

The fire extinguishing agent container valve is installed on the fire extinguishing agent storage container, which has the functions of sealing, releasing, filling, overpressure discharge, leak detection and so on.

The starting gas container valve is installed on the starting gas container and has the functions of sealing, releasing, filling and leak detection.
(4) Check valve
1, check valve of extinguishing agent pipeline
Fire extinguishing agent pipeline check valve is installed between the connecting pipe (pressure hose) and the collecting pipe to prevent heptafluoropropane from flowing back from the collecting pipe to the fire extinguishing agent storage container.
2. Start the pipeline check valve.
The check valve of the startup pipeline is installed on the startup pipeline, which is used to control the gas flow direction and start the specific valve.
(5) connecting pipes
The pressure hose is installed between the container valve and the one-way valve of the fire extinguishing agent pipeline to buffer the impact when the fire extinguishing agent is released.
(6) Safety relief valve
The safety pressure relief valve is installed on the fire extinguishing agent container valve and the collection pipe to prevent the fire extinguishing agent container and the fire extinguishing agent pipeline from exploding under abnormal pressure. The safety valve adopts diaphragm structure, which is safe and reliable.
(7) Selection valve
A selector valve is used in the combined distribution system to control the flow of heptafluoropropane fire extinguishing agent to the fire site.
(8) Signal feedback device
The signal feedback device is installed on the selector valve or the corresponding pipeline. When the extinguishing agent passes through the pipeline section, the pressure alarm acts and feeds back the signal to the alarm controller.
(9) Collection tube
The collecting pipe is installed at the top of the bottle group, and heptafluoropropane released from each fire extinguishing agent storage container is collected by the collecting pipe, and sprayed to the nozzle through a pressure reducing device, a selector valve (combined distribution system) or directly.
(10) solenoid valve
The solenoid valve is installed on the starting gas container valve, and the starting current provided by the alarm controller starts the solenoid valve to open the container valve, providing the starting airflow, so as to realize automatic and remote manual starting. The electromagnetic valve also has a mechanical start function. In case of emergency, the fire extinguishing agent can be sprayed and extinguished by manually opening the corresponding electromagnetic valve in the protected area.

The pressure indicator of the fire extinguishing agent bottle group is installed on the valve of the fire extinguishing agent container, which is the leak detection device of the fire extinguishing agent bottle group.
