March 10, 2022 is the 17th World Kidney Day. This year’s theme is: “I love my kidneys and strengthen my kidneys with knowledge.”

Chronic kidney disease is a common disease that seriously threatens human health. According to statistics, 1 in 10 people in the world suffers from CKD, and the mortality rate caused by CKD is still increasing year by year. It is expected to become the fifth cause of death by 2040. We in China already have a specific policy system for kidney disease screening, prevention and treatment, as well as management guidelines or strategies to improve the care of CKD patients, but greater efforts are needed to implement and promote them.

In response to the alarming growth of CKD globally and in China, early detection of CKD can help control disease progression and improve treatment effects. The Rheumatology and Kidney Disease Party Branch of Linyi Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine will hold a kidney disease conference on "World Kidney Day" On-site consultation and free clinic activities, all friends are welcome to actively participate.
