What is the difference between anti-Japanese base areas and occupied areas?

Anti-Japanese base areas: some were established in safe places (behind enemy lines), and some were established in dangerous places (occupied areas). In fact, there is no specific land, but it mostly refers to places with anti-Japanese organizations.

Occupied area: A place occupied only by the enemy, also called an occupied area.
