She pointed out that the coal-fired power industry is a key area to achieve the peak carbon dioxide emission target and carbon neutrality vision in China and Shanxi. As the main body of carbon reduction, coal-fired power enterprises should attach great importance to and seriously deal with it, incorporate the concept of peak carbon dioxide emission and carbon neutrality into their development strategies and plans, coordinate the relationship between their own business development and emission reduction and carbon reduction, and avoid making decisions that deviate from the direction of carbon reduction/carbon neutrality; It is emphasized that enterprises need to find out their own carbon emission status comprehensively and systematically, do a good job in evaluating the potential and multiple benefits of carbon emission reduction, and give the medium and long-term enterprise emission reduction objectives, paths, strategies and implementation steps; At the same time, do a good job in personnel allocation, carbon emission data system construction, carbon emission management system construction and other aspects of capacity reserves.

The production characteristics and comprehensive utilization of pulverized coal boiler fly ash, circulating fluidized bed fly ash and desulfurization gypsum in thermal power industry are analyzed.

She pointed out that the research on the law of solid waste generation is a substantive work to solve the problem of solid waste consumption, and suggested that the research on the law of solid waste generation in thermal power industry should systematically consider raw materials, production conditions, ultra-low emission process of flue gas, desulfurization wastewater treatment process, denitrification process and pretreatment measures of solid waste, study the links, forms and migration and transformation laws of substances entering solid waste, and analyze the influence of various substances on process parameters and pollutant discharge in the downstream comprehensive utilization process. On this basis, it is proposed that if the output of solid waste is reduced from the source and the composition of solid waste is optimized, its comprehensive utilization may be promoted with less investment. For example, the chlorine content in desulfurization gypsum in some thermal power plants fluctuates greatly, so it is necessary to improve the circulation and treatment methods of desulfurization wastewater, reduce and enrich chloride ions in desulfurization gypsum, which is conducive to promoting the application of desulfurization gypsum in building materials. Therefore, the key to solve the problem of high chlorine desulfurization gypsum is to treat the desulfurization wastewater discharged by limestone-gypsum flue gas desulfurization system in time to make it meet the standard, ensure the dehydration efficiency of desulfurization gypsum, reduce its moisture content, thus improving the quality of desulfurization gypsum, and making the calcium sulfate dihydrate in desulfurization gypsum reach more than 85% and the chloride ion controlled below 600ppm. According to the different quality grades of desulfurization gypsum (flue gas desulfurization gypsum GB/T37785-20 19), it can be used as cement retarder or to produce plastering gypsum, gypsum block, paper gypsum and a- high strength gypsum powder.

Finally, Wei Li briefly analyzed the challenges and opportunities faced by thermal power enterprises in co-processing solid waste, introduced the practical cases of power generation enterprises co-processing municipal sludge, straw and other biomass fuels with pulverized coal boilers and circulating fluidized bed boilers, and suggested that enterprises should increase new industrial opportunities in co-processing solid waste, reduce carbon, assume more social responsibilities and form a win-win situation.

Finally, it is suggested that desulfurization gypsum has a broad market prospect, and coal-fired power enterprises are called upon to optimize flue gas desulfurization management, reduce the moisture content and chlorine content of desulfurization gypsum, increase the content of effective components, and promote the comprehensive utilization of desulfurization gypsum.
