In the 1970s, in West Germany, there were a group of young people who couldn't lift their spirits no matter what they did. They like to gather at subway stations to smoke, watch underground movies, paralyze themselves with alcohol in clubs, or fight at concerts in David Bowie. Our eyes are always empty, angry and helpless.

Cristiana is such a vain and powerless member. She will lie down and go to her classmates' house for the night, and then go to nightclubs with her friends. Here, she met many people like her. They smashed the vending machine in the middle of the night, stole the coins inside and ran away from the police. Cristiana's friends are all addicts. They lost hope for the future and took drugs all day.

Gradually, cristiana became addicted to drugs. At first Alter advised her not to touch it. But in order to understand Alter's feelings, Christiane took the medicine. Alter and a group of drug-addicted friends occupy a forgotten apartment.

Later, Christiane and Alter smoked together and sold them when they ran out of money. Then there is endless detoxification and relapse. Their friends died one by one, and their lives fell from one bottom to another.

In the first half of the film, a dreamy young man with nowhere to vent found a way out, wrapping his nails with cotton thread to absorb ink tattoos, and matching pilling socks with inappropriate high heels. The second half is really terrible. I saw a friend's obituary in the newspaper, and the scene of detoxification was worse than death, because the drug addicts had something similar to corpse spots on their faces, and they trampled on the bottom line of being a man again and again for drugs.

Under the background of the times, some young people in West Germany are the epitome. In the past, this kind of youth film will be combined with the background of the times, and there will be no feeling of moaning without illness at all. After that, the youth film is like a bubble, full of alcohol, parties, dancing, cheerleaders and football captains. As for now, I always feel something is missing.
