On February 23, a truck carrying 29 tons of scrap iron tilted on the Hangzhou-Ningbo Expressway on the Hangzhou Bay Ring Road, and the scrap iron spilled all over the floor, covering four lanes for 300 meters. As a result, the tires of eight heavy-duty semi-trailers were all scrap iron, and two of them had flat tires. According to the investigation, due to the irregular loading, the left fender of the truck was unevenly stressed, and the steel pipe that played a fixing role broke, which eventually led to the leakage of goods. In the end, the huge loss caused by the accident was borne by the truck driver who scattered iron filings.
