A: This week the school carried out the "Learn Fire, Promote Safety, and Build Harmony" fire safety education activity. Let us first understand some fire protection knowledge!

1. Fire and its types:

Fire usually refers to the disaster caused by burning out of control in time and space against people's will. Fires are generally divided into five categories according to the types of combustible materials:

1) combustible gas fires; 2) flammable liquid fires; 3) solid combustible material fires; 4) electrical fires; 5) metal fires.

2. Three basic conditions for material combustion:

1) Combustibles: There are three states of gas, liquid and solid, such as gas, gasoline, wood, plastic, etc.

2) Combustion aid: generally refers to air, oxygen and oxidants.

3) Ignition sources: such as electric ignition sources, high temperature ignition sources, impact ignition sources and chemical ignition sources.

The above three conditions must be met at the same time, and must be combined and interacted with each other for combustion to occur.

3. Common fire sources:

Common fire sources include:

1) Improper location of stove equipment, close to combustibles; 2 ) Improper chimney equipment and close to combustibles; 3) Careless use of fires without supervision; 4) Children playing with fire; 5) Setting off fireworks and smoking near piles of combustibles; 6) Careless use of lights; 7) Burning slag Fertilizer accumulation; 8) Baking; 9) Chimney fire or fire; 10) Rekindling; 11) Improper installation and use of electrical equipment; 12) Machine friction and heat; 13) Refining; 14) Welding; 15) Electrostatic discharge; 16) Dust explosion and fire; 17) Violation of operating procedures by mixing items that can produce chemical reactions and heat with each other.

4. The basic contents of fire prevention work:

1) Establish and improve fire prevention systems and organizations;

2) Strictly control all types of fire sources;

3) Try to use fire-resistant buildings and non-combustible substances, materials and equipment;

4) Carry out scientific management of flammable materials and take appropriate measures to facilitate the escape of personnel and limit the spread of fire to prevent Reduce losses caused by fire;

5) Strengthen publicity, education and technical training;
