Brief introduction of Anqing museum

Anqing Museum is a comprehensive geography museum focusing on modern history, and it is the window unit of Anqing spiritual civilization construction. It has an exhibition department, a storage department, an archaeology department, a research department, a Huang Zhen exhibition hall management office, a security department and an office. It mainly undertakes the functions of cultural relics investigation, collection, archaeological excavation, exhibition, collection protection, scientific research, publicity and education in Anqing City. It is a place for the collection, preservation, research, exhibition and dissemination of historical and cultural heritage, natural specimens and scientific creation of contemporary culture, and plays an active and important role in the construction of urban civilization. There are 36 employees in the whole library, including 4 with senior titles, 2 with intermediate titles/kloc-0 and 3 with junior titles/kloc-0. Since its establishment, more than 50 important remains have been discovered, such as ancient cultural sites, ancient tombs, Taiping Army barracks, British palaces of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, Guanya, the former site of Xiongmabaoying Uprising, and the former site of Anqing Inner Ordnance Institute. Especially 1985, we have basically grasped the distribution of cultural relics in our city through the general survey of urban and rural cultural relics. With the construction of the capital, the ancient tombs during the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period were rescued, a number of important unearthed cultural relics and scattered cultural relics were collected, and the unearthed cultural relics of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom brought to other places were recovered in time. This year, under the leadership of Anqing Municipal Bureau of Culture, The Complete Works of Deng Calligraphy and Seal Carving was edited and published. Accept the editing and publishing tasks of "Selected Paintings and Calligraphy Donated by Xia Mingyuan" and "Selected Cliff Stone Carvings in Anhui Province" by the Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau; He also undertakes the key research topic of Xuejiagang culture established by National Cultural Heritage Administration-the cultural investigation and study of pre-Qin sites in Anqing area and the excavation of Qipanshan site in Anqing city.
