This weekend, I participated in the table tennis competition organized by Taiyuan Evening News.

As soon as we entered the activity center, there were already many children and grandparents. There is a table tennis room, a billiards room and a chess room in the activity center. Grandparents' activities are really colorful! Then we went to the lobby on the second floor and held the opening ceremony of the competition. Then the host announced the official start of the game. Girls play on the first floor and boys play on the second floor. It's my turn I was ready for this. I am both excited and nervous. My heart is pounding like a rabbit. It is luck. It's my turn to grab the position. I was the first person to take part in the first game. I'm so nervous. After practicing for a while, only listen to the referee's command, the game began. I served a backspin first, but the other team missed it. I served two more. After a while, I won the first game with 1 1-5. I became more and more brave and easily won the first game with 2-0. In the second game, I made persistent efforts to analyze the opponent's play. I found that she was not good at forehand catching, so I went straight to her forehand position and changed my play. At that time, I won 2-0 again. I think I can definitely get the top three, but it won't last long. In the fourth game, I was full of confidence and desire to win, but I underestimated the strength of my opponent. I didn't guard against my opponent's pull and spin. In this way, she found my weakness and won me two games. I struggled desperately to get a game back. At the last eight, my score was 3-65438.

On Sunday, the top 8 men and women played a friendly match with their grandparents. It's my turn to play. I played against an old woman with a strange rubber racket. Her serve is half-turn and half-turn, which is really difficult to catch. Grandma is old and strong, with superb skills. I am not to be outdone. I scored one spike after another. We had a close fight, and finally grandma beat me.

Finally, an award ceremony was held and I won the fourth place in the men's class. I think this activity is very interesting and meaningful. It not only learned table tennis skills, but also gave us a competition exercise.
